"Vanne" She turned her head towards the door as she heard her name being called.

"Captain," she chirped. Her eyes widened because of Licht. She is surprised that their Captain is here. She didn't even notice his presence.

"Gather them for me." Licht informed her with his cold voice. His voice sent shivers down to her spine.

She shivered. Years of being with him yet she cannot seem to get used to his coldness and dark aura.

After he said that, he walked away from Vanne and went inside his room across from her. He slammed the door as soon as he went inside.

Vanne didn't waste any time and instructed everyone about what their Captain wanted. She panicked because she didn't want to get scolded.

"Argh! It's getting late but then he wanted us to gather for a meeting? I cannot believe Captain!" Clover groaned in frustration as she walked inside the Quarters. After her is Kiev then Klauss.

Klauss yawned as he sat down. Looking like he just woke up from a good sleep. Vanne couldn't help but laugh at such sight. He still looks like he was about to pass out.

Just like Klauss, Kiev is like that too. He stretched his arms as he made his way to his seat.

"What's with the sudden meeting?" Klauss said and stared at Vanne's direction. All of them turned their eyes on her, they all crossed their arms, waiting for her answer.

They all find it weird Licht calling for a meeting, unless it's urgent.

Besides, he never informed them where he went, that's why.

Vanne just shrugged. She had no idea and just got orders without giving further information.

"Hey, guys!" All of them look at the guy at the door who is as lively as ever.

Vanne literally rolled her eyes. Complaining how loud Dermian can be in the middle of the night.

"Vanne, sweetheart, why are we here?" He asked as he occupied the seat beside Vanne.

She didn't bother answering him. She made herself busy by flipping the page of the book in front of her. Dermian continue pestering the hell out of her. 

She flipped every page of the book harshly. The others are watching the scene before them with amusement.

"Vanne!" He exclaimed as he continued bothering her. Dermian is not contented as he pinches Vanne's arms lightly.

She averted her eyes from the book she's reading and looked at him dangerously.

"Don't talk to me." She warned him as she glared at him. She heard him chuckle as he took a seat two seats away from her.

"Oh, Dermian got scared." Klauss teased.

Klauss and Kiev smirked. They're obviously teasing them.

"Shut up, assholes." Dermian threw a pen on them, shutting them up.

Vanne could not help but shook her head, looking at her friends bickering and teasing each other. She smiled.

Though, they got interrupted as Licht made his way to his seat. Everyone became silent.

The quickly sat down on their respective seats. Klauss and Dermian stopped hitting each other, while Kiev cleared his throat. Clover sat straight with a serious expression, masking her expression of disbelief that she just made earlier.

They sat down looking like a lost puppy.

Captain Licht wore his famous cold expression.

"I called everyone to discuss the issue about the weird Orc you guys encountered earlier." He stated as he eyed the three who got the quest.
