Weeks after events that took place in my house, mum finally decided to speak about it. I wasn't really nervous, more concerned that I have let her down. That's something I would never want to happen.

"How did you even end up like this?" she asked while eating breakfast with me. Perfect place, perfect timing.

"I really wish I knew. It just..." I said as I looked at the same painting he was admiring back then. I quickly blinked a couple of times and brought myself back to reality.

"I gotta go." I muttered, then quickly grabbed my stuff and left the house before mum could even protest. As I was walking I felt the drizzle of the rain on my face. I was walking so fast I didn't even notice the people I stumbled across on my way to school. I was still thinking about that night. We haven't said a word to each other, seemes like he didn't remember what happened. Was it good? Did i want him to remember? I don't know. Since that night, I had a weird feeling in my stomach, like a knot tying around my belly.

Before I noticed, I was already in front of my school. I stood in the rain and watched the building, letting the water drip onto my face. I closed my eyes and breathed out.

"I'll be fine." I whispered and entered the school. Immediately, I was welcomed by a loud noise and a pair of arms holding me by my waist.

"Good to see you, [Y/N]" I recognized Yosano's voice speaking into my ear. I also noticed Ranpo waving behind her back.

"Did something happen?" I asked as my friend was letting go of me. Yosano and Ranpo looked at each other with a sly smile and spoke at the same time.

"You're going to a party!" they both exclaimed excitedly. I blinked twice, then chuckled.

"Excuse me? That's not happening!" I said and tried to go to my locker, but they stopped me.

"[Y/N], come oooon. We both know you need it!" Yosano said and grabbed my hands. I looked away - to be honest, she was right...

"Hey, hey, hey! I see your face, ma'am!" Ranpo joked. I tried to cover my eyes with my hair but it was useless.

"So? Will you come?" Yosano looked me in the eyes. Her unnaturally-looking purple orbs pierced me through and I didn't even notice when I nodded my head. Her big grin spoke for herself.

"I'll pick you up at 8!" she said.

Great. Cannot wait.

It was 15 minutes past 8 and I was already in the car with Ranpo who was driving and Yosano sitting next to him. I was left alone in the back, or how Ranpo calls it "The Children Section". I wasn't wearing anything special - just a plain, black mini-skirt with a black tank top and long, grey cardigan, I also added black ankle boots. While we were driving, I wondered why the parties were always at Ranpo's place. Did he live by himself?

"Hey, Ranpo. Are your parents out of town or something?" I asked him, leaning a bit forward and rested my arms on their seats. Ranpo nodded his head.

"They work abroad, so technically I live by myself." he explained.

"Aren't you scared the neighbours are going to tell them about your parties?"
