*Mia's POV*

   —Fast Forward To 4 Years—

"Ava! Come on baby we gotta get you to daycare!"

"Okay, Momma!"

As you may want to know whom Ava is and why in the world is she calling me Momma, well. Funny story actually.

When I was a senior five years ago, and when I went to the party that Angel forced me to go to, the stranger who I gave my virginity to, got me pregnant after a couple weeks of losing my virginity. I guess the stupid mistake was not using any protection, but the one thing I don't regret is my daughter, I love her with all my heart. She reminds me of the sexy stranger of his brown hair, and she has my light bright blue eyes.

"Okay, Momma I weady!" That's her way of saying, "ready." She walks in the kitchen finding a seat on a bar still in our small little apartment. Ava's wearing a cute yellow unicorn shirt covered in sparkles and black stretchy pants that hit her ankle. Lastly, her Nike's sparkling shoes that are her favorite.

Me on the other hand, I'm in my business casual outfit for a Business company I work at; for almost two years now working at the phone station.

My attire is a simple plain white blouse shirt and a cameo green jacket with pockets on both sides. Just like Ava, but for adults I'm wearing black stretchy pants with a thin strip of red and white all around the pants; and the shoes are simple black flats with a gold bow on the top.

"Got your backpack filled with extra snacks and Barbie dolls?" I ask my three year old.

She giggles; her giggles are music to my ears. "Yes, Momma! I always got my extra snacks and Barbie dolls."

"Okay, okay what about your..." I pause knowing damn well she forgot something.

"Wait! I forgot my drawings for Ms. Byrd. I'll be right back!" She shouts, then runs to her room.

Hahaa... What a sweet kid I have. The rest of my thoughts are shut off when the doorbell rings unexpectedly in the morning.

Hmm. Who could that be?

Before I could even open the door,
I see five black suited men with dark shades on their faces covering up their eyes-and might as well their identities- grabbing me and trying to put a cloth over my face while the others search the apartment.

"No!" I shout at the men looking for Ava.

"Momma!" I hear her yell out for me.
Oh, my god. I try kicking the dude who was trying to put a cloth on me but failed. As soon as I kicked him in the nuts, I fall unconscious and black out.

***

I wake up in a dark smelly room. My hands tied up behind the chair I am sitting at. My neck feeling sore, where the hell am I? Where is Ava?!

"Ava!" I yelled not caring who's listening or not. I want my baby.

"Well. Well. Well, ...Look who finally woke up," A unfamiliar female voice calls out from the shadows of the room.

"Where is my daughter?!" I yell with anger.

"The poor child kept on crying because she didn't know where her poor old mommy is at, cry, cry,"
she says walking toward me. "Oh. Don't worry, she's in safe hands. Get it ? Her hands are in chains and she's in a safe place where you won't find her, haha!" I growled at the comment.

"You know... She should of have been my daughter, but you decide to have Jace for yourself, you slut." After hearing that, I felt like my heart stop. Not moving one inch while my eyes just stare at whoever was in front of me.

"H-His name is Jace...." I shutter whisper.

"You didn't know his name?!" She says then laughs really loud sounding like it was a fake laugh.

"Haha. Stop it! You're going to give me a heart attack." She says putting her arms across her stomach to help her breathe.

I wanted to strangle her, kill her, punch, smack, kick her, but I know I'm not fully capable of doing that.

"Anyways, I'll be back to give you shit later, ta-ta!" She waves goodbye to me and turns herself to the door where there's light. Once she closes the door, the light disappears leaving me in the dark alone.

Sigh.

How am I going to be able to get out of here?
