Chapter 6

The Losers chattered together about their plans and that they couldn't hide forever. Hopefully everything would be okay once they get this ancient monkey off their backs.

Bill smiled at Lilly, then glanced out the window at the moon. It was pretty in full moon view, but then he frowned once he saw a haunting image inside of it.

Lilly smiled back at her husband. She then continued to eat.

Meanwhile Henry, who was in a mental hospital, looked up at the moon too. He was convinced by IT that he should get revenge for what the 'Losers' club. He, with help from IT, escaped the hospital and made his way to Derry. He was going to kill all the group.

Bill shook his head from the moon, then ate with his friends and lovely wife. They would all deal with IT later, now was catching up time and cheerfulness they could in their unfortunate hometown.

"Where does IT live though?" Beverly asked in whisper. "Does IT have a hideout?"

Lilly frowned in thought. "Remember when we went to face IT the first time?" she asks softly.

 Richie nodded. "Yeah.." he says.

"The sewers" Ben said, remembering it too.

"That's where Georgie was killed..." Bill shuddered in memory.

"Of course..." Beverly sounded not ready, but wanted to get this over with already. "When should we do it?"

Lilly looked at Beverly. She then looked at the others.

Richie looked scared, not wanting to go. "We should at least prepare first!" he says.

 Ben looked ready to go.

They were interrupted by some fortune cookies brought out by the waitress.

 Henry was moving pretty quickly.

"Oh, good." Mike took his fortune with the others as they took their own. Maybe the fortunes could take their minds off things and they would relax a little. Maybe, if in the right time and place.

Lilly went to open her one and her eyes widened. She let out a tiny scared gasp as she dropped the cookie.

Richie and Ben looked at each other and checked their cookies. They both dropped it with disgusted sounds.

"What? What's wrong?" Bill asked, he then opened his own and nearly threw up in his mouth. He dropped his and cringed in his seat.

Beverly moaned and quickly turned away. They were all suffering from IT. They knew this had to end as soon as possible before they get themselves destroyed.

When they had had enough they ended up running out of the restaurant. They had all left a bit if money to pay for the meal.

The group walked out together, a bit shaken from the horrifying fortune cookies. Why was this town picking on them so much, what did they ever do wrong?

Lilly held onto Billy as they made their way back to the library. She looked calm except her eyes that were showing her fear. She had a bad feeling about how this would all end.

Richie was aside with Eddie a moment.

"Hey, Eddo," Richie smiled at Eddie. "We gotta stick together, ya know? Like glue and paste stuff... You're like a brother to me and Lilly..."

Beverly's face was paling. She was remembering her encounter with IT. She wasn't sure though if that day was the worst ever or whenever her father would be a dictator to her. They were both equally bad.

"You guys know what happened to Stan?" Bill asked out loud.

Lilly smiled at the comment Richie made. She then sobered at the mention of Stan. She moved a piece of her hair and started to pull her fingers through it, a thing she hadn't done since they were younger.

Bill put his arm around Lilly to keep her safe.

They soon were in the library, as they had to collect some stuff to defeat IT.

Ben was helping to collect some of the stuff.

Richie was by Eddie still, and started to pretend to be a stand-up comedian.

They all went through the different library sections to look on how to defeat monsters. Richie felt calm for a little while as he had his friends with him and twinged a bit. He remembered that when they were kids and saw that wolfman movie, he was scared of it, so much that IT took its form, but luckily he got  over that sort of fear. If only that would make IT disappear forever and they could be at peace like when they all grew up and moved away from each other. "I'm gonna be okay..." he said to himself, calmly, but he was wrong. Horribly, horribly wrong.
