Chapter 12

After that they went separate ways again, planning on leaving Derry again.

Mike had planned to move on.

A few weeks after the incident Beverley and Ben were married and leaving Derry, while Bev became pregnant.

Richie was working with a guy similar to Eddie.

Lilly hadn't changed since the last battle, she remained comatose. Having tiny tears leaking from her eyes now and then.

Bill was gratefully sad as Lilly was. He took some time off his job to comfort her in the best way a loving husband could with her comatose state. He did most of the household things for her and took good care of her, a lot more than before so she wouldn't be in such distress. He gave her breakfast in bed, did many chores at home, and did anything he could do for her.

Even after a full month nothing had changed of Lilly's condition. She still didn't react and just sat staring straight ahead. She however did walk if Bill led her in any way. She didn't react even when they were heading to the taxi that would take them out if Derry.

Bill kept comforting Lilly. He could understand what she was going through and it would take time before she would be back to her normal, cheerful self, but he vowed to never go back to work until she would be fine and manage on her own, no matter how long it took. Not that he didn't mind, he loved spending a lot of time with her.

The cabbie was putting the bags away as Lilly was sat on the backseat of the cab.

"Are you two okay?" the cabbie asked.

"Uh, yeah, just anxious to get home..." Bill said, slowly and slight tension in his voice.

However the bike gave Bill an idea, as he remembered that day he had saved Stan's life with it.

Bill eyed the bike, slowly blinking and felt nostalgic. He then shook his head a bit, and smirked. "Just... Wait..." he then took the bike and wheeled it to Lilly. "Come on..."

Bill then moved Lilly out of the car and sat her sideways on the bike in front of him. He put her hand on the handle of the bike and put her arm around his neck. "This bike saved mine and stan's life once, I don't know if I could go that fast again..." he tells her softly. He then started to peddle off towards the big hill.

Lilly was staring straight ahead. She still wasn't reacting yet. Bill had put her in a blue jumper, a White blouse and black trousers. He had also put her favourite heels on her.

The two were riding the bike together. Bill made sure Lilly was on good course so she couldn't fall off and get hurt. They rode along the paths of Derry, Bill felt safe and he enjoyed the breeze and refreshing Earthly air. They passed a few taunting children. "Beat IT!" Bill growled at them, putting emphasis on the word it because of what they all had been through.

While they were riding Lilly suddenly gripped onto Bill's shirt and gasped as she came back. She blinked and turned to look up at Bill breathing hard. "Bill, wh-what happened?" she asks, sounding shocked and slightly worried about the ride.

They biked all through out and made it at the bottom, ending their bike tour. Bill smiled, feeling relieved and he looked at Lilly, but he curved his face, wondering if she was going to feel alright.

When they reached the bottom she looked at him fully.

"What, what do you mean what happened?" Bill tilted his head at her, wondering why should ask something like that. "Don't you remember what we all did last month?" he asked softly, hoping reminding her of that wouldn't scar her again.

Lilly looked totally confused. She then remembered IT killing Eddie but nothing else. She clung to Bill but was normally crying now. She was ok now though other than the grief.

Bill returned the hug and squeezed her gently. He also stroked her hair a bit to soothe her and hopefully once they get back home, this would all be a faint memory.

Lilly returned with Bill to their home, always sad about Eddie but it was less because of the forgetting of IT completely.

Everyone of the 'Losers' Club were enjoying their lives now, they had no memories of IT anymore, though they remembered each other, and that two of their group had died. They sometimes had to remind each other of their names but a bond like their's could never be broken.
