Lilly's Story: IT

Chapter 11

Chapter 11

 It was upsetting but at the moment more so maddening. Lilly hadn't reacted to the hug just stayed there staring straight ahead, with her head bent as she had looked at Eddie, her grip was loose but just enough to hold Eddie. Her now dull brown eyes blinked slowly, a few more tears falling.

 Ben hugged Bev and then looked at their friends and back at the others. "We have to kill IT!" he says.

  "We need to be strong," Bill snifled, putting a hand on Lilly's shoulder. "i'm gonna miss him too.... but, we have to be strong, avenge Eddie and the others IT has harassed." 

 Richie nodded and followed Billy, Bev and Ben to where IT had scuttled off to. He then tipped IT over with the other 3 and started to kick at IT's vunerable underside. They did this until they managed to reach in a pull out IT's heart.

 They were beyond anger due to what had happened.

 Bill growled and felt very powerful. He really unleashed his years of pain and suffering with IT's wrath. He was even ripping IT apart with nearly no mercy, much to everyone's shock. He was more angry with IT than everyone else was.

 After the heart had been destroyed and IT had fully died Ben, Beverly, Bill and Richie went back to where Eddie and Lilly were.

 Ben put his arm around Beverly and held her closer to him.

 Beverly cried on Ben's shoulder and squeezed him in the hug, sniffling.

 Richie went over to Lilly and Eddie and carefully removed Eddie from her grip. He then lifted Eddie up in a fireman's lift. "The place is falling apart, we should go" he says.

 Lilly didn't react to Richie taking Eddie either. Even killing IT had not brought Lilly's mind back. The tears had stopped for mow though and the only evidence of them was the tracks down her cheek. Her eyes remained dull and she ended up flat on the ground, though she hadn't just fallen, her hands were loose in her lap as Richie had taken Eddie, the only thing keeping her in the sitting position.

 Bill slowly breathed and went to his group. "We should go now... The nightmare is finally over..." he wheezed a bit. "Come on, Lilypad..." he helped her up and took her hand gently to get her to leave with them. 

 Lilly followed mutely. She could walk though it was only with Bill helping her. The only reaction was a small blink when they got into the brighter bit.

 Richie followed behind them all. He was really sad but was being brave about it.

 Ben walked with Beverley, he was sad but had a tiny bit of hope. Maybe he and Bev would end up together.

"It's okay, Lilly..." Bill assured her, walking her gently as they ended up in the forest to be safe. 

 They soon got into the forest a safe distance away. Ben was holding Beverley to him, Richie was carrying Eddie still and Lilly was being held by Bill. And all of them, except Lilly who, lying down in Bill's arms as he sat on the floor was staring up at the sky, looked at the old Sewer Plant.

 Bill carefully stood up with Lilly again.

 They all shared a group hug like they did when they were younger before they went separate ways 30 years ago. They all decided to have a few moments of silence to remember Eddie, Stan, and hope Mike would remain alive now that IT was gone for good.
