Chapter 5

Lilly looked at her husband and got up slowly. "Let's go back to the car and go back to the library..." she says softly before gently patting Georgie's headstone as a sign of respect. She then went up to Bill and hugged him again.

Bill's eyes stung with tears once he saw Lilly pay respect to Georgie's grave. He wiped his tears as they shared a hug and went back to the library to hopefully gain some peace from this world they were trapped in tormented by IT.

Lilly drove them back to the library. She had a sad, scared yet calm look on her face. She parked up when they arrived at the library and then got out with Bill.

Bill managed to settle himself down, but was still shaky after their reunion with IT. "W-We once thought he was some guy in a clown costume scaring us... But we found out he was a lot worse..." he explained his past to his wife on the way in the times before Lilly moved into Derry.

They went inside towards the receptionist desk and saw someone they hadn't seen in years. "Mike?" Lilly asks the taller man who came up to them.

"Mike, is that you?" Bill added.

The taller man turned around and smiled, revealing he was indeed Mike. "Stuttering Bill! New Girl Lilly!" he called them by their nicknames. Teasing Bill for his stutter he did, but they were friends and he was allowed, same as making fun of Stan for being Jewish.

Lilly was holding Bill's hand. She gave a small smile to Mike. "Hey Mikey" she says using her nickname for him. She then winked "and it's no longer 'New Girl Lilly' it's 'Bill's Girl Lilly'" she tells him with a wink and a loving smile to Bill.

Billy chuckled at Mike, gently shaking his hand. "Hey, Mike..."

Mike looked at them both. "I heard you got married, Bill, but I thought it was to that actress that was in your first screen play."

"Oh, Audra?" Bill remembered. "Yeah, she was okay, but she was more into her looks and making money, so I found Lilly. Turns out we still have a lot in common from childhood to adulthood." he smiled sheepishly at Lilly.

"Audra? You forgot to mention that Bill..." she says frowning slightly. She then shook her head "it doesn't matter now, and he chose the right one I think" she says ending in a slight tease. She couldn't stay mad at Bill but she'd still talk to him later, as she needed to know.

"I didn't tell you about that actress?" Billy raised an eyebrow at her, but shrugged it off. "Where are the others?"

"Well, we're all still coming to face our fears, but Stanley can't come." Mike replied, with a hint of sadness and roughness in his voice. "Stan... commited suicide a while ago... IT was too much for him..."

Lilly brought a hand to her mouth. "Stan," she gasps. She teared up a little, so that was the grave that had been filled. She looked up at Bill "we can't let IT get away with it," she says, you mess with one of the group you mess with them all.

They all then headed outside so no one would say they were causing a scene.

Bill handed her his handkerchief to dry her eyes and blow her nose. "Couldn't have said it better myself."

Lilly wiped her eyes, the nose blowing not needed. She herself only had a part time job as a waitress.

"Come on, let's move out." Mike nodded, then walked with them to meet with the other adult Losers.

They met them at the restaurant where they were meeting. Ben was an architect and had slimmed down.

Eddie was a man who now lived with his mother still, Richie was a TV personality, Mike was an inspector, Bill was an author married to Lilly, and Beverly was married to an abusive man but she put him in his spot.

Richie had to hide a little as he was nervous, then he came out to meet them.

When they met the others she ran up to Eddie first, as he was still considered her brother to her.

They had to carry Beverly when she fainted.

After a short while their food came.
