3 | Class Competition (but Mai is lazy)

"Our fight to be the number one idols! Maihime Aika, standing at the start line of her Aikatsu!"

"And then I was like-" Maihime began explaining a funny story to Stella until the two of them were startled by a loud bang. They looked to the front to find the noise came from their teacher's, Anna Hibiki, hand. She had purposely hit the table to make sure everyone was listening.

"As I was saying, babies, you've probably heard all about how the class auditions are tomorrow. All I am going to say is this: DON'T! GIVE! UP!" Each time she shouted a word, she struck a different pose with her microphone. "No matter how hard something is, with enough determination, you can overcome it!" As she said those last words, the bell went. "Good luck, babies!"

"Woah! I can't believe it!" Maihime said as she put her books, training kit and her water bottle into her bag. "I know it's strange, but I still can't believe I'm here at Four Star Academy! And, the class auditions are here! I'M GONNA SCREA-" Her friend shoved a Four Star donut into her mouth.

"Oh no you don't!" Stella laughed. "You don't want to break a window, do you?" The brunette chewed on the donut.

"Mmmm! Yummy! Anyways, you're aiming for Flower Song Class, right?"

"Obviously! What about you, Mai-chan?" Maihime tapped her chin.

"I was thinking about Bird Theatre Class since I love acting, but Flower Song Class is really where I want to be!" She said as the two left the classroom.

"We're gonna be rivals then! I won't go easy on you!" Stella smiled.

"And I won't go down without a fight." She returned the grin as Stella pulled out her Aikatsu Mobile.

"Wait a sec, where did Yae-chan say she would meet us?"

"I think she said near the school's running track at eleven."

"Then we're ten minutes late! Mai-chan, why do you always take so long packing your bag?" Maihime sighed.

"I don't know. DON'T JUDGE ME!" The two girls sped up their pace, giggling. Mai froze as she heard her name being yelled.

"W-Was that...?" Stella began as they peered around the corner.

"MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIII-CHAN! STEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-CHAN! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Yae was looking for them, searching in every classroom.

"Yeah... I-I think it was..." Mai turned red as her friend had attracted a huge crowd.

"Oh, THERE!" She pointed at them as she ran over to them. "Where were you guys? And why is Mai-chan a tomato?"

"Mai takes a LOOOOONG time to leave the classroom. And don't ask." Yae and Stella laughed as they headed to the running track, followed by Maihime hiding her head in embarrassment.

"Aikatsu! Aikatsu! Aikatsu!" Jogging around the running track, Maihime, Stella and Yae were training. They stopped for a short break.
