When we come in from school I'm surprised to find my dad home already, "Hey guys."
"Hey dad. Have you seen my laptop?"
He sighs, "Your sister brought it to me, what did we talk about?"
I groan, "Oh god. Please no. Not in front of Rory."
Rory bites her lip and shakes her head, "You should be more careful. That probably freaked her out."
My dad laughs, "You know what I'm talking about?"
She nods, "I have a twin brother. He's used my laptop before. Talk about disgusting."
I shake my head, "It was on my laptop though. She knows she's not suppose to take it without asking me."
My dad sighs, "I don't know what to tell you except her birthday present is a laptop. You'll just have to wait until then."
"She doesn't even know my password."
Rae sighs, "Um my sister knows how to hack into computers. She probably told her how to get past it."
I groan, "Great. Who knows what they found."
My dad eyes me, "What's on it?"
I shrug uncomfortably, "Some pictures."
My dad glares at me now, "Of what? Or whom?"
I glance at Rory, "Pictures of Audrey."
Rory rolls her eyes, "I thought you said you deleted those."
I nod, "I did. I didn't want Preston and Trace trying to get them. I don't even know why I kept them."
Abigail and Sammi walk through the front door and Rory scowls as they walk past, "If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go yell at my sister about hacking into things."
She leaves the room and my dad shakes his head, "You know she can't be happy that you have pictures of your ex and her best friend on there."
I nod, "I know dad. I'll delete them."
"Good. Now go on and finish your homework."
I walk into my room to find Rory digging through her purse, "I have to go to my house real quick."
I frown, "I don't want you going there alone."
She sighs, "I just need to run upstairs. It'll take two minutes."
I shake my head, "No way. Not unless I go with."
She sighs and Sammi walks in my room and throws her something, "There ya go. I'll have to pick up more from walgreens."
Rae nods and I frown, "If that's what you need then go to walgreens. I don't want you in that house."
She sighs, "But my heatpack is in my bathroom cabinet."
I walk over to my nightstand and pull one out, "I use it for my shoulder, just use this one. Please."
She pouts and I walk over and wrap my arms around her, "I just want to keep you safe baby."
She nods and reaches up to kiss me, "I know. It's just aggravating."
I kiss her jaw and say, "It's only been a couple of days. I'm not done with you yet. I like having you in bed at night."
She smiles, "That part I'm fine with. It's just missing home and my stuff. I'll eventually have to get my laptop."
I pout, "I know. Maybe tomorrow. Not today. I'll still go after him if I see him."
