The doorbell was ringing and all I could hope for was that it was him. So I pulled myself up and straighted out my tank top and long wavy hair before running to the door. But when I open it up I find Audrey and Harper.

I sigh, "Just leave. I want to be alone."

Audrey wraps her arms around me immediately, "Honey what happened?" she coos.

I sniff a little, "I found him with that slut," I manage to get out before breaking down into hysterical sobs.

Harper drags us into the kitchen and opens up my parents liquor cabinet, "I think this calls for some wine don't you think?"

Audrey nods, "You get the wine, I'll get her in the tub."

I sit on the bathroom counter while Audrey runs hot water for my bath and adds in cherry blossom bubble bath.

"Where's your favorite sweats?"

I frown, "It's too hot for sweats."

She shakes her head, "We'll make it cold. Now where are they?"

"In the bottom drawer. My purple tank is in the second."

She smiles from my answer and says, "Alright go ahead and strip and get in. I'll bring your sweats in soon."

An hour later I pad out of the bathroom with an empty glass of wine and my favorite black sweatpants with my favorite summer time tank. I walk into the kitchen to find my two best friends gathering wine, ice cream, and pizza.

"We ordered our favorite," Harper smiles.

"And we got cherry garcia ice cream."

"Lots of wine," Harper adds.

"And lots of movies."

"Come on, grab the movies off the counter and lets go out back."

It's several hours later that I have every single frusteration out. The yelling, the cussing, the ranting. The crying. The emotional break down.

Audrey had been single for two weeks, Harper for one, and I for about ten hours.

It's then that we make a pact.

"I hate guys. I just want to swear off of them and enjoy my senior year."

"Me two," Harper sighs.

"Me three," I groan.

Audrey giggles, "We should all swear off of them for senior year. We can do one of our oaths!"

I giggle at this too, "Like back from fifth grade?"

Harper nods, "Yeah! That could be so much fun!"

I run to my art room and get the X-Acto knife then I run to the bathroom and clean it really well before coming back into the living room of the guest house. By the time I've done this the lights are off and the girls have candles out.

I sit down on one of the three pillows they had stiting in a circle with a few candles in the middle. I open my palm and grin at them.

"On this blood oath with my sisters I Lorelei Knox swear off boys for my senior year," I say slicing my left palm gently before handing the blade over to Audrey.

She smiles, "On this blood oath with my sisters I Audrey Bennett swear off boys for my senior year," she says while slicing her palm.

She then hands it to Harper, "On this blood oath with my sisters I Harper Calhoun swear off boys for my senior year," she says slicing her palm.

We then press them together before I say, "What if something happens and we want to break it?"

Audrey shakes her head, "I doubt anything is going to happen. We've been dating those boys forever and they go and break our hearts. They need to learn a lesson."

Harper nods, "She's right. I don't think I'll be ready to date for a long time anyway. Plus it's our senior year, the first half is all about focusing, then second half is all about having fun."

I nod, "You guys are right. Focus and then fun," I pause and then say, "Just the three of us," in usion with the two of them while blowing out the candles.

We fall asleep giggling.
