are running through the fields and forests.

Sure, they're both pretty young but, in dog years, Jake's 28-years-old. a shape-shifting dog who's super flexible (this helps him maneuver though logs and rocks and trees) and also can grow to 30 feet and shrink to 1 inch, Jake also seems to have Super Strength as a Secondary Power to his stretchy powers, (which he got from rolling in mud where someone accidentally poured radioactive waste). He can shift when he wants to, but he has a limit that makes him/eventually makes him super tired if exceeded (10, 850 ft of stretching himself thin)[1]

Finn is 12 years old and doesn't like being made fun of for his lack of nose (only nostrils) which is a genetic mutation due to a puddle of nuclear waste he found.

Jake: Yeah!! Whoo hoo!!

Finn: (laughs) Huh?

outside a town walking towards and shooting at it.

Finn: A giant evil robot! (They run to it, Jake distracts it and dodges its claw and lasers while Finn jump-kicks the laser gun off. Jake stretches his body and wraps it around its legs, it falls, Finn dodges the claw as it tries to grab him, kicks and destroys the claw, then repeatedly punches and occasionally kicks its head, destroying the electronics.)
