I sat beside Jesse Jones as he slept on, oblivious to the fact that the teacher was calling him. I sort of admired his bravado. I poked him awake (again) and he answered the questions without hesitating.
"How do you do that?" I asked, laughing.
Jesse grinned. "I listen." he answered simply. He went back to sleep and I drummed my fingers on the table. Suddenly, a ball of paper hit me and I saw a boy with unusual yellow eyes grinning at me. Aiden Renner.
