The Romance Between Us

Chapter 5

•Phils POV•
As of yesterday me and Dan have been getting along very well we talked all night even when he was drunk...he's funny when he's drunk I'd pay to see that again. I made Dan cry which was not my intention at all, I feel horrible for that, but just recently found out that he's bisexual and I don't know I guess I'm happy considering I'm the same way, I think that I'm falling for him...it's almost as if we have Romance Between Us. I know it sounds crazy but I feel as if maybe there's some romance....
"Philllllll" as Dan yells from the living room I hadn't noticed I was talking to myself again.

"Comingggg"

Sorry, I say as I walk back from the kitchen. What happened I thought you said you where going to get food. He said looking confused.

"Oh s-sorry"

As we sit there talking for almost three hours we forget that we where supposed to go back out it's 10:15pm.

"Dammit, I totally forgot I'm supposed to be home at 10:00 and it's 10:15." Dan said as his eyes twinkled in the light from my living room.

"So"

what do you mean so, I'm supposed to be home. He said trying to rush out the door.

No please don't go. I plead, I swear if I have to beg on my hands and knees I will cry. I say trying to get a laugh out of him.

"Hahaha" Dan laughs. I'd like to see that. Dan winks.

Why don't you want me leaving. Dan said putting his big leather jacket on over his blue hoodie.

Be-because my house is haunted its scary at night and I don't like being here especially at night please...stay, I say as I take his jacket off myself. What are you trying to do strip me down, no thanks. As we both laugh.

Fine I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay. Dan says as he makes his way to the couch. What movie would you like to watch. I say as I go to sit beside him.

Well I've never seen the movie the fault in our stars. He said as he looked at me with his twinkly eyes. Where are you going. Dan said with his arms across the top of the couch but put them back down when I start heading for the kitchen.

Where are you going. Dan asked. To get snacks and tissues, your going to need them. I say exiting the room.

12:15 rolls bye.

So much for your house being haunted Phil I think you just made that story up. Dan says as I lift my head from his shoulders. No trust me it's haunted.

•Dans POV•
As I sit there looking at Phil all I want to do is kiss him but afraid to for his reaction on what would happen if I did.

Hey Phil I want you to watch a movie now my choice. I say as I want him to get scared so that I can comfort him. I want you to watch sinister 2. I say as Ik and he knows it a scary movie.

There is no way in HELL that I would ever consider watching a scary movie in a haunted house. He said sounding really scared.

Don't worry Phil I'll be here with you if you get scared. I say as I put my hand on his knee because Phil was hugging them to his chest, I could instantly feel his nerves unclinch. Okay but if I get scared I can count on you right. Phil said grabbing my hand.

As we sit there watching the movie Phil wasn't enjoying it at all I could see it in his eyes. I sit there with my hands on the top of the couch as a scary part came up Phil got scared put his face into my chest while grabbing my shirt tightly I feel nothing but quilt for doing it to him. I put my one hand closest to him around his body, my hand goes around the part of his neck to his back where my hands meets his, he's notices it while putting his head back up for the movie he takes his left hand and held them together leading our hands holding between us. Throughout the movie he gets scared and frightened. The movie finally ends and I turn it off.

"Phil I'm so sorry for making you watch that movie, I should have known you didn't like them".

No really because you know I didn't tell you. He said sounding frustrated. I'm sorry I'll go then. I said trying to leave.

Girls voice

What did you say Phil. I ask him. What are you talking about I didn't say anything. He said lifting his head.

Girls voice

Phil what was that. I said confused. Ohhhh Noooo. Phil said sounding nervous.

Loud noise

Phil.....I say as I look around the room. Dan this is what I'm talking about, my house is haunted. Phil said as he actually started to scare me.

Why don't you move in maybe it won't be like this with someone if they moved in. He said actually being serious.
