Ymir x fem!reader

A/N: so this is my first (girl x girl) so I have no idea how it's going to go and if you don't like yuri then don't read. Also if I make Ymir a bit OC I apologize, I have no idea how to pinpoint her personality, just bear with me!! (Also there is slight cussing)

(Y/n) P.O.V~

Sometimes I wonder why life is so unfair. Why is she always with her? Why can't she notice me? The "she" I'm referring to is Ymir. You see, I've had a crush on the harsh brunette since the first initiation.

The only problem is she is always following Christa around. Now I have nothing against Christa, she's quite amazing, I just wish Ymir would show me half the attention she shows her.

The only times I've tried to talk to the tall female she just scoffed and gave me an annoyed look. It crushed my heart to say the least.

After two years of trying to get her to notice me I've decided it's time I gave up, I don't stand a chance against the blonde goddess anyways.

So that leads me to now, the most awkward time of my life. I went to the dinning hall for dinner and for some reason, all the seats were taken.

The only one available was next to the one person I've been trying to avoid. Ymir. So I got my food and hurriedly scuttle to the seat.

I place my tray down as lightly as possible and sit down, trying to avoid as much contact as possible. She was currently engrossed in a conversation with Christa so she didn't notice my presence at all.

"Go figure.." I begrudgingly thought to myself as I began eating. Once I finished what they call "food" I grab my tray and quickly stand, ready to get out of here.

As I turn to leave a hand suddenly grabs my wrist. To say it frightened me would be an understatement. I jumped and turned around to see a certain brunette staring confusedly at me.

"May I help you, Ymir?" I asked her, with more attitude than intended. "What the hell is wrong with you lately, (y/n)?" She inquired with a now slightly angry face.

"What to you mean? I haven't changed at all." I answer, now really confused with what's happening. Still holding my wrist, Ymir drags me outside and to the girls cabin.

Once we enter she throws me down onto her bed and stands in front of me. "What I mean is that you've been ignoring me, you used to try to talk to me and all of a sudden you up and shun me, I don't know what happened and it's annoying me dammit!" Ymir all but shouted.

I was taken aback, I thought me leaving her alone would make her happy. "You ignored me all the time and it made no difference to you, but now that I've gave up my effortless trying to get your attention your suddenly 'bothered'?!?" At this point I was fuming, I finally give up to make her happy and now her she is, making it so much harder to forget her.

"Yes it bother me! I love you dammit! The reason I ignored you was because I didn't know how to act on my feeling and I always asked Christa for help talking to you cause I wanted your fucking attention." I was absolutely stunned.

I never expected this from her. I suddenly felt ashamed for lashing out on her like that. I put my head down and began to speak. "Ymir...I-I love you to, you just always ignored me so I assumed you hated me, and was in love with Christa..." It was silent for a few seconds before arms wrapped around me.

"I'm sorry for making you upset (y/n). I promise it will never happen again, just...please...go out with me?" She spoke in a soft voice, which was extremely uncharacteristic for her.

I pulled back and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. "Of course Ymir." And with that we once again joined in a kiss. I guess my years of work have finally payed off.
