Rogue Cheney x reader

(Y/N)'s P.O.V~

It was a lovely day in the kingdom of Fiore so I decided it would be nice to take a walk through town. I love being able to go out and meet new people, watching the clouds, hearing all the sounds.

One sound I did not expect, however, was the voice of a young man, frantically screaming the name 'Frosch'. I was casually walking from stall to stall, examining the goods in the market when I was grabbed (rather harshly) on the shoulder.

There stood a handsome boy with raven hair covering one eye and a scar across his nose. "Have you seen Frosch?!" He shouted frantically while shaking me back and forth. My brain was spinning from both the confusing question and the continuous shaking of my body.

Suddenly the boy was ripped away from me by another boy with spikey blonde hair and a scar over his eye. "You can't just go shaking people like that Rogue! I know you want to find Frosch but you're scaring the poor girl, she probably has whiplash now!" The new boy chastises the one I now know is called 'Rogue'.

"I'm sorry about him miss, we are just looking for someone. I'm Sting, that's Rogue." He explains sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck while apologizing to me. Rogue looks over to me as well and as we make eye contact I can see a faint pink dust over his cheeks.

"I-I'm sorry for yelling and shaking you." He murmurs with a slight bow and with that he runs off yelling Frosch again. I turn back to Sting and give him a smile. "Well I'm (y/n), I don't have anything to do today so I can help you look for your friend if you'd like"

It seems like a good adventure and a good opportunity to make new friends so why not offer my assistance? "Really? That'd be awesome." He returns my smile and proceeds to tell me what Frosch looks like so I can help. We then both head out to search for the lost exceed.

*TIME SKIP*

As we searched for Frosch, I talked to the boys (mostly Sting) and got to know them more. I learned that they were wizards from Sabertooth and were called the twin dragons. I also met Lector.

I was walking down the street and I saw a glimpse of a small pink creature. At first I thought it was a frog but as I did a double take I realized it was a cat. That must be Frosch! "Frosch!" I shouted as I jog toward the little exceed. Frosch turned to me and my heart melted. S/He was adorable! (A/n: Frosch's gender is unknown so uhh...bear with me here lol)

"Hello! Who are you?" S/He asked me with a wide smile. "My name is (y/n), I am a friend of Sting and Rogue. They are both looking for you." I explain with a gentle smile, not really knowing if I can call myself a friend of theirs.

"Frosch got lost and was trying to find the guild again...but now Frosch is really lost." Little tears welled up in Frosch's eyes so I wanted to try and make him/her feel better. "Would you like me to take you to Rogue? I'm sure he'd be very glad to see you." Frosch agreed so I walked in the direction I had just come from.

I saw that familiar black hair and yelled out Rogue's name. He came running up to us and scooped Frosch into a hug claiming how worried he was and saying to be more careful. I smiled at the scene in front of me and went to walk away.

"(y/n)!" I heard Rogue shout. I turn back around and he gives me a small smile, the first one I have seen from him. "Thank you for finding Frosch, if you ever need anything feel free to stop by Sabertooth." With that we part ways, for now.
