Marco x reader

A/N: this one is another oneshot from my other book but I want it to be here because I like it lol. Anywho, enjoy~

                  (Y/n) P. O. V. ~

    It was my first day at Attack High! Needles to say I'm very exited...and nervous. I have no idea where any of my classes are and I don't know anyone. I'm going to try my best to make a lot of friends. Anyways, I arrive at the school and stop in front of the doors.

"Okay...deep breathe (y/n). You can do this!" After my personal pep talk I go to open the door but before I can I feel a painful smack and I'm suddenly on the ground. "I'm so sorry! Are you okay?!" I hear a panicked voice and I look up. I'm met with gorgeous chocolate eyes.

The boy in front of me was so cute. I felt my cheeks heat up and my mind goes completely blank. "I-i uhhh...I'm okay, you're fine...OH! Not fine like cute, well you are cute but I mean fine like okay I-i mean.......I'm (y/n)..." I stutter out after I stand up.

"Wooooowwww. Good job (y/n) now he probably thinks you're insane..." My thoughts were interrupted with his beautiful laughter. "Nice to meet you (y/n), I'm Marco." He gives me a heart melting smile and I swear my innards are liquid at this point.

Before I can say anything else he continues to talk, "are you new here, I haven't seen you before?" I attempt to gather my thoughts before I try talking again and I quickly compose myself.

"Yah, it's my first day, needless to say I'm very nervous." He chuckles again and shakes his head lightly. "It's completely understandable, do you need someone to show you around?" I was fangirling so much inside right now but luckily I kept my composure.

"That would be amazing! I have no idea where I'm going..." I admit sheepishly. "Great! Come on then (y/n), I'll show you to the office." With that he held the door open and escorted me to the office. 

    **time skip because author-

    Marco helped me get my schedule and had showed me to all of my classes. As it turns out, we have the exact same classes. "Well this is great! Looks like we'll be seeing a lot more of each other." He said with a smile.

"Indeed! I hope we can become friends." I exclaimed excitedly. "Well I already consider you my friend (y/n), speaking of which, would you like to sit with me and my friends at lunch?" He inquired.

"I would love to, thank you!" I said with a huge smile. "Fantastic, they'll love you." He gave me a huge smile and we began to walk to our class.

       **yet another time skip!**

It is now lunch and Marco is walking me to his table. He walks up to a crowded table and we both sit down. I feel very awkward and everyone's eyes are on me. "Guys this is (y/n), it's her first day here, and (y/n) this is Jean, Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Sasha, and Connie." He pointed to each person as he said their names.

I gave them a shy smile a small wave. They all gave me a nice greeting and throughout lunch I began to feel more relaxed and comfortable. I have a feeling I'm going to like this school a lot. I also have a feeling I'm going to like Marco a lot.....

  **last time skip I promise....**

  It's been a few months and my experience at Attack High has been amazing. I've become good friends with the whole group and some others like Annie, Krista, Ymir, Bertholdt, and Reiner. This school is so amazing.

Through the past months I have also developed a slight *cough* huge *cough* crush on a certain brunette named Marco. He is so sweet and has been helping me since my first day here. I mean seriously, how could I not like him? The only problem is that I don't think he likes me back.

Everyone says he does because he's so nice to me but he's nice to everyone. It hurts me to think that I'm not good enough for him. Either way though as long as he ends up happy I'll be okay, even if he's not with me.

But back to right now, I am currently sitting up on the school roof, I should be down at lunch with all my friends but I really just need a break right now. It was slightly warm but it wasn't too hot. It is so serene up on the roof.

The peaceful silence where you could just stare at the clouds without a worry in the world. It's a place I can see Armin frequenting. It's about 15 minutes into lunch and I'm now starting to debate if I should text someone to let them know where I am, I wouldn't want to worry them.

I decide maybe it's a good idea and grab my phone. I press the on button but nothing happens. "Greeeeat..." I thought to myself, "my phones dead, guess they'll be okay without me texting them..." as that thought runs through my head I heard the roof door slamming open.

It's been so quiet that the sudden noise startles me. I jump and turn to see who caused such a racket. I'm met with those gorgeous chocolate eyes I have come to love, but I notice he looks quite frantic. He looks at me and immediately I see relief wash over him.

"Marco? What are you doing up here? Is everything alright, you look really panicked." Without a word he runs towards me and embraces me. The sudden contact shocks me a bit at first so it takes me a minute to respond, but I eventually return his hug.

"I was so worried, you didn't show up to lunch and you weren't answering your phone. You always answer your phone, I-I thought something happened to you..." He said after a moment of silence.

"I-i didn't mean to cause any worry, I just wanted to relax in silence for a minute, and my phone is dead....I really am sorry Marco." I said, now feeling guilty for all the trouble I caused.

"It's alright (y/n), I'm just glad your okay." He spoke, pulling back from the hug and giving me a gentle smile. "Why were you so worried though, it's not like I'm that important" I muttered sheepishly. His face suddenly got very serious, something I've never seen from him.

"(Y/n). Don't ever say that. You mean so much to me, you have absolutely no idea. Listen, I've been to shy to tell you this before, but...I really like you...a lot, and I was wondering if you would...be my girlfriend?" At his words I felt tears welling up in my eyes, a huge smile gracing my face.

I pull him into another tight embrace and he quickly returns it. "I really like you too Marco, of course I'll be your girlfriend!" We both pull out of the hug but Marco keeps his hands resting on my lower back. He pulls me in once more into a gentle kiss.

Our lips mold together like two pieces of a puzzle, moving in perfect harmony. I couldn't believe this was happening but one things for sure. Best. School. Ever.
