Armin x reader

Armin's P.O.V~

I have been staring at the ceiling for hours now. It seems that no matter how hard I try to get back to sleep, I just can't. I had a horrible nightmare and it just shook me so much, I'm far to terrified to sleep now.

I dreamt that I was in a town of rubble...blood everywhere. But there was only one body. The one I love the most. (Y/n). It scared me so much, if (Y/n) was to die...it would break me.

"I have to go see her" I thought to myself. "She's the only one who can help right now." And so I decided I would go to her cabin and hope my waking her up won't annoy her.

I got up very quietly and snuck to the door. After I got out I crept to the girls cabin and eased in as quiet as I possibly could.

(Y/n) P.O.V~

I was in a peaceful sleep when all of a sudden I was being gently shaken awake. I squinted through the dark, trying to see who decided to wake me before necessary.

To say I was shocked to see Armin would be an understatement. "Armin? What are you doing here?" I whispered quietly, being careful not to wake anyone.

I peered into his beautiful oceanic eyes. When I looked at his face I notice he was deeply disturbed by something. I immediately got worried, why wouldn't I? I may or may not have a little (huge) crush on the blonde.

Seeing his shaken form I gently rest my hand on his face. "Armin? Please tell me what's wrong." I whispered softly. He didn't say anything, he just pulled me into a tight hug.

I hugged back, gently stroking his back and hair to calm him. After a few moments of silence he took in a shaky breath and began to speak.

"I-I had a horrible nightmare...I was all alone in bloody rubble of a city. There was only one body...it was yours. I was so terrified. I-I...I don't want to lose you, (Y/n)...I love you."

He spoke while pulling out of and looking directly into my eyes. I blushed deeply at his confession. "I-I love you to Armin...I have for a long time now." I whispered shyly.

I was just now becoming more aware of the fact that we were sitting on my bed and anyone around us could wake at anytime.

I didn't really care about that though, all I cared about was the intense look Armin was giving me. I was gazing into his eyes and I could see the relief and happiness in them.

I also noticed him starting to lean in, I knew where this was leading and I wasn't about to stop him. (not that you nasties 😂) I lean in and eventually our lips ymet in a gentle kiss.

The kiss was soft yet passionate. Armin shyly placed his hands on my waist while I placed mine on his shoulders. Too soon the need for oxygen became to much.

We pull back slowly, lingering, to savour the sweet moment. We sat there breathless staring into each other's eyes for a while before he broke the silence.

"Hey (Y/n)?" "Yes Armin?" I unguided back, anxious to know what he was gunna say. He looked down blushing and fidgeting with his hands before mumbling, "does this make us boyfriend and girlfriend, because I would really like that."

I chuckled lightly before replying, " of course Armin, now come lay down with me. Believe it or not I'm still tired....and I don't want you to leave." I mumbled the last part but I know he heard it.

He smiled softly before climbing under the covers with me. He shyly wrapped his arms around my waist and I later my head on his chest, breathing in his scent. The last thing I heard before I went to sleep was Armin softly whispering, "l love you (Y/n)."

(Time Skip) *Next morning*

I was awoken to giggling all around me. I confusedly opened my eyes to see all the girls crowded around my bunk with smug looked on their faces.

I tried to sit up and figure out what was happening but when I tried to move I realised I couldn't. Arms were wrapped around me with a vice like grip.

"Armin.." It dawned on me now of why they were all so smug and giddy, crowding around my bunk. I forgot Amrin stayed here last night.

I guess all the commotion woke him because he released me and say up with a yawn. It only took him a second to glance around and figure out what was going on.

"It's not what you think!! I had a nightmare and (Y/n) just helped me calm down!!" Armin immediately jumped to defend us both while blushing profusely.

I was also blushing and hiding my face in my hands. "Stop worrying Armin, it was pretty obvious you like each other, this was no surprise." Mikasa spoke, with that calm look still on her face, though I did catch a glimpse of a small smile ghosted on her lips.

"Just make sure you hurry and get ready or I'll eat all the food!!" Sasha shouted and she ran out the door, towards the dinning hall.

Everyone else quickly following suit. "Well that was embarrassing." I said while chuckling softly, still blushing. "It's okay (y/n), at least now we won't have to tell ourselves, they'll do it for us." Armin replied lightheartedly.

"That's very true, well I do need to get ready now, and so do you. We want breakfast don't we?" I told Armin while standing from the bed. "Alright, well I'll see you at lunch (y/n)." Armin said while quickly planting a kiss on my lips.

He then ran out of the room blushing and shouting bye. I was left surprised at the bold move, and hand resting on my lips. I smiled softly and began to get ready, I couldn't wait to see Armin again.
