Ashley left to go find a doctor after she talked to me. I still haven't tried to talk. My throat was dry and I had a feeling that my voice was going to be bad. Once I heard the door handle being turned a doctor walked in. She had told me that her name was Dr. Garcia. She asked me a couple of questions luckily they didn't require me to talk. Just a simple nod to answer.

She had told me what had happened to me. She told me that I had huge bruises everywhere but luckily it didn't bruise any of my organs. I also had a cut on my forehead which I was surprised because I never felt it. She also told me that I had been in the hospital for 2 days. Then she asked "May I ask you how this all happened?" I looked down at my hands which were now sweating. Ashley noticed that I was starting to panic a bit and walked over to hold my hand.

All I said was "Anybody else come?" I had barely said that in a whisper. Ashley had heard me and said "Sam no one else has been here other then my parents and me." She had realized that I had meant my parents. Then I started to tear up a bit and that's when Dr. Garcia chimed in "I do understand if you don't want to tell me what had happened. I just want you to look after yourself and you will be in a bit of pain for at least the next couple weeks. The good news is that you will be able to leave today."

She then looks over at Ashley and asks "So we just need her to be signed out by a parent and then she can leave." Ashley nodded her head and said "I will get my parents here to sign her out I believe she has us on her emergency list." Dr. Garcia nodded and then started walking to the door. She stopped at the door to say "I really do hope you get better and hopefully we don't see you in the hospital again for this reason again, goodbye Sam." She gave me a slight smile then opened the door and left. As soon as she was out of the room I broke.

I had started to heavily cry so Ashley crawled on the bed next to me. I moved towards her to rest my head on her chest while still crying. She started to play with my hair to try to calm me down. After about 20 minutes I had calmed down and she continued to play with my hair. I then look up at her and say "They really never came?" She looked down at me with sad eyes I already knew the answer.
