When we got out of the arcade we helped each other to put on the anklets. Then we decided to walk to the carnival games. We ate our candy and talked while walking over there. We both ended up stopping at a basketball game. Ashley wanted to do it to win me the huge panda bear they had hanging.
For the game all you had to do is make 2 shots. It was only a dollar to play. The guy who was running the game said that she could get closer because she was a girl. Ashley walked over to me with the ball. She smirks and says "Should I show him my skills or make him believe that I can't shoot." I look over at the guy he has a smirk on his face.
I look back at Ashley and say "Well he looks like he is confident that you'll miss. So I say that fake the first shot. Then show him up on the last two." Ashley then has an evil grin and nods her head. She walks back to the shooting spot. I get my phone out to record it. Ashley then holds the ball weird, then shoots the ball and goes flying to the side completely missing the hoop. I start laughing and then the guy says "Don't worry you have 2 more shots I'm sure you'll make at least one."
I think to myself man if only you knew what was coming. Ashley looks over and smirks. I nod my head to her and she nods back. Then Ashley starts to dribble the right way. Then out of no where she starts to dribble between her legs behind her back and all the ball handling tricks. Then she holds the ball in shooting position and swishes it. The guy stares at Ashley with his mouth open. Ashley then grabs the other ball and swishes it as well.
Then Ashley walks over to the guy and says "Don't judge a book by it's cover. Just because I am a girl doesn't mean I can't play sports." The guy still has his mouth open. Then Ashley says "Can I have the panda?" The guy then closes his mouth and walks over to the panda and takes it down. He gives it to Ashley and she takes it. I start laughing and stop recording. Ashley hands me the panda and then we both walk away laughing. After that we stopped at a couple of other small games.
