We both fell asleep really quickly. We were both extremely tired from yesterday. I was then woken up by car doors slamming. I slowly opened my eyes and realized it was morning. There was a small amount of light coming through the blinds. I turned my head and saw that Ashley's back was to me.
I could tell that she was still asleep because of her slow breaths. I slowly sat up in bed and stretched my arms. I involuntary groaned as I was stretching. I scratched my head and walked into the bathroom. Once I walked out of the bathroom I walked to my window and opened it. I saw that my parents car was gone.
I walked over to my nightstand and unplugged my phone. I left my phone sitting there and decided to wake up Ashley. I got back on the bed and crawled to Ashley. Then I just jumped on her. I let my full body weight go on her (which wasn't a lot). She groaned and I couldn't help but laugh.
I got off of her and sat on the side of her. Ashley groaned again but sat up. Then I said "Lets have a lazy day with movies and junk food." Ashley nodded and then got up to go to the bathroom. I left the room to go down stairs to eat breakfast. I didn't feel like making food so I just ate honey nut cheerios. I decided to pour Ashley a bowl as well. As if she heard me she came down the stairs. I smiled at her and pushed the bowl towards her.
We both ate our cereal in comfortable silence. Then I said "I was thinking maybe later I could text Mason and see if he wants to join." Ashley looked at me like I was crazy. "What it was just an idea" is what I said. Then Ashley speaks up "Since when do you have the courage to ask your crush to maybe join us on our lazy day." I pushed my bowl in front of me and turned back at her.
"You know that I don't get nervous talking to my crushes. And plus it's not like we haven't been on a date already." Ashley shrugged her shoulders at me and continued to eat. After Ashley finished eating we both put our bowls in the sink and went to the living room. I picked out the movies Pitch Perfect, Pitch Perfect 2, Lilo And Stitch, Tangled, and the Percy Jackson movies. I put in Pitch Perfect and got comfortable cuddling with Ashley on the couch. I thought to myself This is going to be a long day.
