Ashley placed me on my bed and I could hear her walk away. I figured she grabbed the pill bottle and the water that I threw up the stairs. I could then hear the door close and locked it. I opened my eyes and saw her get 2 pills and opened my water for me. She placed the pill bottle on my night stand with the pills and the water.

She moved me so that my back was against my headboard. She then handed me my pills which I put in my mouth then she handed me the water which I chugged with the pills. I gave her the water after I had finished half of the bottle and she set it on my night stand. Ashley then looked at me and said "I heard what your mom said, they both hurt you again."

I looked down at my hands and slowly nodded my head. She sighed and then walked over. She got back in bed and pulled me for me to rest my head on her shoulder while she wrapped her arms around me. I wrapped my arms around her and stared at the wall.

We were both quiet until we both heard the front door open. Ashley then let go of me and walked over to the window. I heard car doors close and a car drive away. Ashley then walked over to me and picked me up bridal style and went to the room door. I held onto Ashley's neck while she was carrying me. She opened the door and she was carrying me down stairs to the couch.

She set me down and then jogged back up the stairs. She came back with my water bottle and sat next to me. She looked over at me and said "So are you going to tell me what happened?" I looked over and said "Short or long version." My voice was raspy and deep from not talking for so long. Ashley raised a eyebrow and said "Short." I took a deep breath and said "So I pretty much got beat because I was at your house when I was out of the hospital."

She then smiles and says "Yet here I am." She lifted her arms in the air. I couldn't help but laugh. She smiled and said "There's the smile." Then she continues to say "Also I don't know what they were expecting since they didn't go to get you." I moved over to Ashley and tackled her in a hug. I hugged her because I was so grateful that she was there with me while I was in the hospital. I wrapped my arms around her neck and laid on top of her. I didn't want to move mostly because it hurts to move still. Ashley is also really comfortable to lay on. She chuckled a bit and wrapped her arms around my waist.
