Ashley and I finished all the movies except the Percy Jackson series. It was only 7:20pm, I got up and grabbed my phone from upstairs. I came back down and Ashley was looking at me. Then I asked "Should I ask him? I mean we haven't hung out in person since our first date."
Ashley responded with "I say go for it I'll just be with you guys just so you know." I nodded my head and then said "Should I call or text him?" Ashley had a look on her face saying that she was thinking. Then she answered "I mean you can do either or." I thought about it and decided to call him. I walked into the kitchen and went to my contacts.
I said to Ashley that I was calling him. She nodded and went to put in the first movie to get it ready. I went to Mason's contact and clicked call. He answered not even a minute later.
"Hey Mason."
"Hey Sam how are you?"
"I'm good but I was wondering if you were doing anything?"
"No actually I am pretty bored. Why?"
"Well Ashley and I are having a lazy day. Watching movies and eating junk food. And well I was wondering if you wanted to join?"
"Are you sure? I mean I don't want to interrupt anything."
"Yeah I'm sure and Ashley doesn't mind you being here."
"Alright then, your house right?"
"Yep"
"Alright see you soon."
"See you soon."
I then hung up the phone and placed it on the island counter. I looked like a smiling idiot. Mason is such a nice person. He cares so much. I walked back over to Ashley and she had a smirk on her face. I rolled my eyes and sat back down on the couch. We started to talk to pass the time until Mason shows up. Before I knew it the doorbell rung.
I got up from the couch and walked to the front door. I looked through the peep hole and saw him standing there. I smiled and opened the door. I smiled at him and engulfed him in a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around my waist while my arms were around his neck. I buried my head in his neck breathing in his cologne. He always had a good amount on.
We stayed like that until I heard Ashley clear her throat. I took my head of his neck and looked at Ashley. She was smirking at us. Then she said "So are we going to watch the movies or what?" I let got of Mason's neck and he let go of my waist. I extended my hand and he intertwined our fingers.
We walked hand in hand to the couch. Ashley sat on my right side and Mason sat on my left. I rested my head on his shoulder and he put his arm around my waist. Ashley pressed play on the movie. I smiled to myself and snuggled more into Mason. Now this is happiness.
