It has been about 3 hours of us at the pier. It was now about 5:30 in the afternoon. Both Ashley and I stopped at a little booth to get something thing to eat. We both ended up getting a salad. When we were eating our food we started to talk about what had been happening at my house.
Ashley says "So is that what has been happening?" I nod my head. I had told her about the details as to what had been happening with my parents. Then I say "Well of course it gets better because you showed up at my house, and took care of me, and now we are here because you wanted me to get my mind off of it. Which I have until now but it was a great success."
Then Ashley said "Sorry I just wanted to know what was happening to my best friend while she was with her parents alone. But I am glad that this worked." We had both finished our salads at this point and we both got up to throw away our trash. Once we both threw away our trash I hugged Ashley. Ashley was surprised but hugged back.
After we pulled away we decided to start walking again. We were walking on the way back to the beach. I suddenly stopped and Ashley stopped as well. She had a look of concern on her face. She then asked me "Sam you okay?" I then answered with "Go walk ahead I have an idea." She said okay and started to walk forward. I turned on my camera that I had forgotten that I had. And angled it so you can see her and the people walking by.
I took the picture and focused it on Ashley. You can see the blurs of the other people next to her. I got the purplish pinkish sky in the background. I then turned off my camera when I was happy with the picture. I ran up to Ashley and we continued to walk together. She then asked "So what was that about?" I looked over at her and smiled saying "I'll show you when we are on the beach."
