We both got to school and I put on my smile and talked to a couple of people. Throughout the day I still acted like everything was just fine. No one would ever think something was wrong. After everything that had happened I had completely forgot about my date with Mason today. Luckily I still had time to get ready after school.
As much as I don't want to go back home I needed to get ready. I asked Ashley earlier if I should still go on the date. She said that I deserve to be happy especially after what happened. So the date is still on. When he saw me in class he asked where I had been. I just told him that I had been sick and got better enough to come back.
So the day went by and it was after school now. Ashley and I were talking about the date later. "I still can't believe my Sam is going on a date." I lightly pushed her arm. Then I said "Not going to lie I am also a bit surprised, I would have never thought that I would be going on a date with my crush." We both laughed after I said that and got into her car.
We were down the street from my house. My nerves were starting to kick in. I started to sweat. We where in front my house and I let out a long breath not realizing that I was holding it in. My parents weren't home. Ashley parked in the driveway and we were both looking at the house. We both had bad memory's here and neither of us wanted to go inside. We both snapped out of it and then Ashley looked over.
"You want me to go in with you even though your parents aren't here." I nodded at her and we both opened the car doors. We got to the front door and I opened it. I expected to see a mess like how it was last left. But nothing was messed up so I know that my parents cleaned everything. We both walked up to my room. My room was a mess so I guess they figured no one would look in my room. I walked to my desk and put my stuff on top of it.
I was relieved that they didn't touch any of my stuff. Ashley just stood at my door way looking at the mess. I walked over to my bed and laid down with my head leaning against the headboard I winced a bit when I fully laid down. It still hurt to do certain things. Not all my bruises were gone. The ones on my face weren't noticeable anymore. The ones on my stomach are starting to not look like a galaxy now. While I was laying down Ashley was looking through my clothes to find my outfit for the date.
