I had finally stopped crying. The words were still playing in my head but sounded far away. I focused on Ashley rocking us and her holding me. She kept saying "Just breath Sam focus on my voice." I tightened my grip on her shirt. She then said "Sam I'm not going anywhere I am right here with you."
Who knows how long we had been there for. I was tired of sitting and I feel bad for ruining Ashley's day again. I let go of Ashley and stood up. Then I looked back at Ashley and said "Lets go have fun." Ashley gave me a confused look and then said "Are you sure?" I nodded my head not wanting to ruin Ashley's day anymore.
She then stood up and we both walked out of the stall. I went to the sink and wet my face. The redness from crying was slowly going away. I fixed my hair a bit and then walked out of the bathroom with Ashley behind me. I looked over at her and asked "Where do you want to go first?" Ashley answered with "Hmm maybe the games and then we can work our way around the pier. Then end the day with a walk on the beach. Sound good?"
I nodded my head and we both started walking in the directions of the arcade games and the fair games. We first started in the arcade games that were in a building near the back of the pier. I put 20 dollars in to get some tokens to play the games. We both agreed to split the money that we were going to use for the whole day. We walked around the arcade to see what games they had. I got distracted to what was there because every time I would step I could hear the tokens in my back pocket rattle.
Then we got to the back of the arcade I saw air hockey. I yelled and jumped. "Ashley we have to play you know how much I love air hockey." Ashley then started laughing at me. I grabbed her hand and dragged her to the tables. It was only 2 tokens luckily. Once we started the game I said to Ashley across the table "Your going down Ashley." She laughed and said "No way Sam, if anything your the one going down."
