Once my dad left I hadn't moved at all. I was trying to make the on going pain on my stomach go away. I couldn't text or call Ashley because my phone is down stairs by the island. I remember seeing it while I was being dragged by my dad up the stairs.
When he was pulling me my phone fell out of my back pocket. I didn't have any strength to grab it. I had no idea if any of my parents took it or just left it there. I was so tired physically and emotionally. I looked over at the clock on my night stand it was currently 9:00pm. I decided to not try to move to get changed so I stayed in my T-shirt and shorts.
I got enough strength to roll to myself over onto my side. I was facing the wall with my back to the door. I felt unsafe because I don't have enough strength to get up and lock the door. I grabbed one of my pillows that I wasn't using and cuddled with it. I fell asleep cuddling with my pillow about 30 minutes later.
I didn't know what time it was but I was woken up by tapping. At first I thought I was hearing things but the tapping came back. I moved my head to look at the time it was 11:40pm almost midnight. I looked over at my window but my blinds were closed. I tried to sit up but failed the first time.
On my fourth try after the annoying tapping I finally sat up. I scooted to the edge of my bed and reached for my blinds. I wasn't close enough so I had to stand. I built up enough strength to stand up. I opened the blinds completely and saw Ashley outside my window. When she saw me her smile dropped. I opened my window with one of my arms while my other arm was holding my stomach.
I got the window open and Ashley jumped in. I lost all my strength and started to fall. Ashley caught me before I hit the floor and helped me to my bed. She laid me down so my back was against my bed frame. She walked back over to my window and closed it. She left the blinds open so you could see the moonlight come in. It was the only source of light we had.
She then walked back over to me and I pointed at the door. She walked over to the door and noticed it was unlocked so she locked it. Then walked back over to me and whispered "Sam what happened and don't try to lie because the bruises on your face will say other wise."
