Tired

Ricky's p.o.v

We were on a plane when I heard them say we were at our destination. I stretched my arms and legs out and looked over at Ariana. She has been sleeping a lot lately and I think it's because of the pregnancy. I had been doing research on pregnancy ever since we found out. I leaned over to give her a kiss on the cheek. She started moving around but still didn't wake up. I shook her shoulder lightly and whispered in her ear.

Ricky- Ari time to get up. We are here baby

She opened up her eyes and looked around. She looked out her window and her eyes got big.

Ariana- why are there so many people here?

I looked out at what she was talking about. I instantly got scared because we don't have any security here with us so we will have to try and get through all of that ourselves.

Ricky- well I guess we have to try and make our way through that

Ariana- (sigh) yeah I guess

We both got up and I took her hand in mine. I walked ahead of her out of the door so people wouldn't trample her. As soon as she stepped out people started screaming and pushing. I put my arms around her so nobody could touch her. We finally get to the door when one of them grabbed her arm and tried to pull her back.

I turned around and pushed him off of her. I was trying my best not to just punch him in the face but I felt Ariana's hands wrap around my arm and I turned back around and started walking in. We finally got through everything and we met Frankie at the door. They hugged each other and got into the car, as soon as I closed the door Frankie started asking questions.

Frankie- so how was it? What did you do? Maybe I don't want to know that. Why did you stay so long? You didn't answer my calls either, why not? You need to tel-

Ariana- Frankie! Calm down, I will tell you everything. Later

Frankie- ok fine

The rest of the car ride Frankie sang I danced and Ariana just kept yawning.

Frankie- why are you so tired? Did you not sleep on the plane?

Ariana- I did just not enough I guess

Frankie- well we're here!

Me and Frankie got out of the car and Ariana stayed sitting in her spot.

Ricky- come on Ari! Don't you want to see your family?

Ariana- yeah but I don't want to walk, I'm too tired. Can you carry me?

Ricky- babe I'm not going to carry you. You can walk

Ariana- please

She curled her lip out and started to look down. She knew that always worked.

Ricky- alright come on

Ariana- yay! Thank you so much, I love you

Ricky- I love you too. That's why I'm doing this

We walked up to the door and let ourselves in. By the time we got in Frankie had already got in and changed. Everyone was sitting around in the living room and all of our friends were already here.

Victoria- aww look at how cute they are

Alexa ran up and hugged Ari and whispered something in her ear. I couldn't hear what she said but they were probably talking about the baby. She told me that she told Alexa about it already.

Ariana- I know how everyone is so before you all scatter everywhere I need to tell you something

Scott- ooh already getting the scoop on things

Joan- what is it?

Ariana- well... we're having a baby!!

Victoria- you're joking right?! Omg that means I'm going to be an aunt

Frankie- I'm going to be an uncle, for real!! I'm not like all you other fake aunts and uncles, I'm going to be a real uncle!!

Joan- I'm having a grand baby?! I'm so excited

Nonna- this is such exciting news! Your grandfather would be very proud

Ariana- thanks nonna

Everybody got up to hug us. I'm so excited to start my little family. I watched as Ariana smiled and laughed talking to her family about it.

Brian- hey man congrats

He patted me on the back and stood beside me.

Ricky- thanks man. I'm so excited

Brian- I'm so happy for you. I'm glad you guys got back together

Ricky- me too. Now I'm married and having a baby with her

I excused myself and went upstairs. I was up in her room laying on the bed when I heard the door open.

Ariana- what are you doing?

Ricky- just laying here thinking about things

Ariana- what things?

She came over and sat on the bed putting her face over mine so she could see me. I put my hand up on her face and moved a piece of hair behind her ear so I could see her better.

Ricky- thinking about how stupid it was that we broke up

Ariana- you think it was stupid?

Ricky- you don't?

Ariana- I think it was the right thing at the time because imagine if we stayed like we did at the end before we broke up. We would be miserable, arguing all the time. We needed space so we could grow and learn and change

Ricky- but you got with someone else

Ariana- yeah I know but I'm with you now

Ricky- I just wish he never happened in your life

Ariana- are we going to argue about this again? I'm tired of arguing about this.

Ricky- who said we were arguing?

Ariana- well we aren't right now but we will. I could bring up the fact that you lied to me and said you weren't with anyone while we were apart but you were and it was with maybelynn. Or the fact that you slept with some random girl when we started talking again. And the girl that you probably slept with from the time I saw you at Starbucks the morning you left my house to go be with her

Ricky- ok I get it. I'm sorry, I was stupid. Let's not talk about it anymore

Ariana- yeah let's not

She laid her head on my chest and sighed. I wrapped my arms around her and she started to trace my tattoos.

Ariana- we should probably go back downstairs

Ricky- sure thing Mrs. Alvarez

We walked back downstairs and sat down on the couch. I was listening to everyone talking while I was watching Ariana, I could see that she was getting so tired. She put her head on my shoulder and I kissed her head. Her breathing had slowed down so I knew she was asleep. I laid my head on hers and before I knew it, I was on my way to sleep too.
