Ariana's p.o.v.

I waited outside in my car for Mac to arrive. He got there in 5 minutes just like he said. I got out and we met each other in the middle. I gave him a hug and we continued to walk inside.

Mac- how are you?

Ariana- I'm good. How about you?

Mac- doing great. Are you and Ricky okay?

Ariana- we're having a fight right now but we'll be fine. Are you seeing anyone?

Mac- are you sure everything will be fine? No I'm not. I was but we broke up

Ariana- I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure, it's just a rough patch, every relationship has them at some point right?

Mac- yeah I guess

We were now in the studio and I was sitting in a chair waiting for him to find the lyrics. It took him 10 minutes before he finally found them. He gave me the paper and showed me my parts.

Mac- so yours is here, here, and here

Ariana- okay, so will we be singing any of this together or it it just me?

Mac- we will be singing together on just the last one but I rap all of my other parts and you sing

I look over the lyrics, mine and his, they seem really personal. It has a love feeling towards it but not two people who were in love.

Ariana- I like it. It seems really... personal. What's it about?

Mac- it's about how I'm in love with this one girl who is absolutely talented, beautiful, smart, and funny but she's with someone else.

I knew by the way that he was looking at me that he was talking about me. I didn't want to question him further on it and give him the wrong idea. I gave him a small smile and got up.

Ariana- okay I'll start my part

I walked into the booth and he had a disappointed look on his face. I try to erase it from my mind and start to sing. I finished my part and stepped out. I sat back down in my seat and looked at him.

Ariana- how was it?

Mac- perfect. Here, listen.

He started playing it and it did sound very good. I was pretty impressed with myself too.

Mac- thanks for doing this. I know that Ricky probably didn't like you being here with me.

Ariana- yeah he'll be fine though. I love making music with you. I didn't realize that we have been here this long.

Mac- yeah it's pretty late.

Ariana- I should probably get home before Ricky worries

Mac- can I talk to you for a minute before you go?

Ariana- yeah

Mac- okay so I know I probably shouldn't say it but I have to. I still love you Ariana, I still want to be with you. We still loved each other when we broke up, we just never would see one another. Can that really be the end for us? We were best friends. We were both in love all that time, we just had to experience some things first. I-

Ariana- Malcolm, I'm sorry. I did love you, yes but it's not the same as it was before. I think I loved you because I made myself. It was the perfect fairytale and I wanted that. I think we just waited too long. I love Ricky and I know that we have our problems but I'm meant to be with him, forever.

Mac- ok. I'll see ya around

Ariana- yeah, see ya

I walked out of the studio and went to my car. What just happened? I get my phone out and see a few messages from Ricky.
