Gender reveal

Ariana's p.o.v.

I am greeted at the door by Frankie who is eagerly waiting for the envelope. When I give it to him he rips open the top and reads the gender. He gets an excited look on his face and runs upstairs.

Ricky- I wonder what the excited face means.

Ariana- who knows. He said he would be excited either way

Mom- hey honey. Nona is getting the food prepared and everyone should be on their way

Ariana- thanks mommy. I'm going to go change

Mom- okay hurry up, people should be here soon.

Ariana- okay I'll hurry. Ricky are you changing?

Ricky- no, I'll just wear this. Do you want some help?

Ariana- no, I'm okay

I walk upstairs and go to my room. Ever since I've gotten pregnant I haven't liked being naked around Ricky. I know that at this time I could be bigger and I do love my belly, I just don't like for him to see it because I feel like he doesn't think it looks beautiful. I cleared my thoughts and looked for a dress. I put on a loose fitting black dress that went all the way to the floor. I chose to wear black because Ricky was wearing a black shirt. I put on my black heels and put makeup on. My hair was already in a ponytail so I decided to leave it. I took one last look in the mirror and walked out.

I walked downstairs and there was already so many people here. All of our friends were here and Ricky's parents were just walking in the door. He went up to them and hugged and kissed them. I started to walk down the stairs when Ricky noticed I was there. He ran up the stairs to meet me and walk me down. He gave me a kiss on the cheek.

Ricky- you look so beautiful

Ariana- thank you

I got to the bottom of the stairs and started going around to hug everybody and thank them for coming. I heard the door open and looked to see who it was. Of course it was Mabelynn. I looked over at Ricky who was just staring at her. I turned around and walked into the kitchen.

Ariana- hi Nona

Nona- hi doll. You look very beautiful.

Ariana- thank you. So do you

Nona- thank you. So how are you feeling?

Ariana- I'm feeling great

Just then Brian walked up to me and hugged me. Scott soon followed him and he gave me a hug as well.

Brian- did you see who walked in?

Ariana- yes I did. Did he invite her?

Brian- he never said anything about it to me

Scott- are you okay? He seemed to be staring at her pretty hard when she walked in

Ariana- he has to look at somebody I guess.

Just then Nekai and Tracey walked in. They had shocked expressions on their face.

Nekai- girl did you see wh-

Ariana- yes I did. They are friends I guess, so it's whatever

Tracey- I didn't realize everyone came in. We are all leaving them two together

Ariana- they're friends. I don't care

Ricky's mom entered the kitchen and gave me a half smile. I smiled back at her and she touched my arm.

Ariana- can all of you give us a minute?

Brian- yeah of course. Let's go

Everyone walked out leaving me, Sylvia and Nona. She took me over to the side and sighed.

Sylvia- why do you not like Mabelynn?

Ariana- it's not that I don't like her... it's just, I don't know

Sylvia- well they're just friends

Ariana- it's just the fact that they've slept together. Not only did they sleep together he lied to me about it when I asked him. I guess I need to just let it go

Sylvia- wait! They slept together?! I didn't know that. Well honey now I don't blame you for hating her but maybe it is time to let it go I mean you are the one that married him. I know that he loves you more than life itself and I know he thinks you are beautiful. You mean the world to him

Ariana- he means the world to me too

Just then Mabelynn walked in. She walked up to Sylvia and hugged her. I started to walk out when Mabelynn grabbed my arm.

Mabelynn- umm can we... talk somewhere more private?

Ariana- we can go upstairs

Mabelynn- thank you

We walk back through the living room where everyone is at. I pass Ricky and he looks at me with a questioning look. I give Brian a smile as I walk by and he mouths "don't kill her" which causes me to laugh. We make the long walk upstairs and to a guest bedroom. As soon as she is in the room I close the door.

Mabelynn- listen I didn't come here to ruin anything.

Ariana- then why are you here?

Mabelynn- I came here to apologize to you and to support my friend. I know that you are mad because Ricky and I slept together. It really didn't mean anything to him, I know he loves you and I was wrong for sleeping with him knowing he was in love with someone else. I'm sorry. If you want me to leave I will and I won't ever talk to him again if that's what you want

Ariana- thank you for apologizing. I'm sorry for saying all the things I said to you. I really want you to stay, I know it would mean a lot to him and it means a lot to me

Mabelynn- thank you. Hug it out?

I opened my arms and she grabbed me. I never thought I would be standing in a room with Mabelynn, hugging her but here I am.

Ariana- we should probably go back down now

She linked her arm with mine and we walked out. We started to walk down the stairs when she whispered in my ear "how lucky is Ricky to have two sexy ladies in his life like us?" I burst out laughing when she said that and everyone looked at us. I looked out at the crowd and met my eyes with Ricky's. He looked confused then a smile appeared on his face. We reached the bottom of the stairs when Ricky met us there. He put his hands on my stomach and kissed me.

Ricky- Frankie is ready for the reveal

Ariana- okay. Let's get everybody outside.

Ricky- can I have everyone's attention please?!

Everybody stopped their conversation and looked towards Ricky.

Ricky- we will be heading outside to determine the gender then you guys can come back in and eat!

Everybody made their way to the back door. Everyone was standing in a circle and we made our way through to the middle.

Ariana- okay so we will pop this balloon and if pink comes out, it's a girl and if blue comes out it's a boy. Do we have the needle?

Frankie- here you go

Me and Ricky hold the needle together and put it up to the balloon.

Frankie- everyone count down.

Everyone- 3...2...1

We popped the balloon and the pink confetti came out. Ricky yelled and started jumping around with all the guys. Alexa, Tracey, Liz, Victoria, and all the girls ran over and started hugging me. I started crying because I was so happy to be having a girl. My mom came up to me and hugged me.

Mom-congratulations sweetheart

Ricky came back over to me with tears streaming down his face. I wiped them away and kissed him.

Ariana- we're having a girl

Ricky- yeah we are

I knew the first chance that we would get me and Alexa would go shopping for all the girl clothes in the world.
