Nursery

Ariana's p.o.v.

It had been two days since I've had Wilder and it was finally time to go home. We haven't stopped staring at her, we can't believe that she's ours. My mom helped us get all of our stuff from the room to the car and she drove behind us until we got home. We arrived home safe and sound.

Mom- do you want me to stay and help? If not I have to go and get things done

Ariana- we'll be okay. Thank you for helping with everything here while we've been gone

Mom- it was my pleasure. This is my only grandchild right now

My mom kisses me, Ricky, then Wilder and gets into her car and drives off. I grab some of the bags from the backseat while Ricky grabs the car seat with Wilder in it. We make our way into the house and all the dogs start barking and jumping on us which causes Wilder to cry.

Ariana- can you take them outside?

Ricky- of course

He hands me the baby and gets the dogs attention so they will follow him outside. Once they are gone I set the car seat down and take her out of it. I fixed her onesie that she had on so you could see the writing, it said "Grandma's my favorite" Ricky's mom was the one to get her this and it was cute so I thought it would be a perfect coming home outfit. I walk over and sit on the couch with her and make sure I sit just right because I was still sore. She starts to get a little fussy so I lay her down on the couch and get my pillow. I put it around me and I lay her on it so I could start breastfeeding. Ricky walks in and takes our bags and gifts upstairs. He walks back down and sits next to me.

Ricky- when she is done eating I have a surprise for you

Ariana- a surprise?

Ricky- yeah

I sat with excitement for 20 minutes until she was finally done eating. When she finally got done eating I burped her and looked at Ricky.

Ricky- are you excited?

Ariana- yes! Now what is it?

Ricky- we have to go upstairs. Let me take Wilder

I handed Wilder to Ricky. He held her so gently as he helped me get up from the couch.

Ariana- wait, before I forget to ask, when is your mom coming over?

Ricky- tomorrow. She wants us to have some time with Wilder before she comes over and spoils her

Ariana- fair enough

We slowly made it up the stairs and I had to take a breather once we got to the top. I already started to think about how we were going to have to baby-proof the house when she starts crawling and walking. I look over at Ricky and they are both staring at each other. I get my phone out and take a picture. I took another one but made sure her face wasn't being shown, I want to post it but I don't want people to see her face yet. he looks back over at me and smiles.

Ricky- are you ready to see it?

Ariana- yes! I've been ready

He leads me to the door that's right next to our bedroom and opens it up. I was in complete shock with what I was seeing. I walk in and take a look around. The whole room was painted with a light blue and had stars all around the room. Above her crib it had wooden letters that spelled out her name. On the opposite side of the room it had her changing table and on the wall above that there was a moon. It also had a baby swing and a rocking chair, this is the best nursery.

Ricky-do you like it?

Ariana- I love it! Everything is so beautiful. Where did you get this crib from?

Ricky- I made it, with Nico's help

Ariana- everything is absolutely gorgeous

He puts Wilder in the crib and walks over to me and hugs me.

Ariana- when did you do all of this?

Ricky- well I started it awhile ago. I would work on it when you were sleeping. I started working on the crib while you were gone and Nico finished it yesterday. He put most of the stuff in here when we were at the hospital

Ariana- I have the best husband ever

He leans down and gives me a kiss. We walk over to the crib and just stare at our sleeping daughter. I can't believe that this is my life. I have a husband and a daughter. My perfect little family.

And they lived happily ever after.... or did they?
