Broken- Lawlu {editing/ hiatus}

Chapter II

Shachi rose from his fall and brushed the dust off him. He quickly ran after his friends and when he reached them, a loud roar erupted from the forest. The group turned around and watched the forest from afar with shock filled eyes. They were so far away but the roar was so loud it still managed to reach their ears.

"That's one of the Forest's kings, those two are in grave danger." A man's voice sounded right behind them. They turned around and met with Naguri again.

"You're the old man from the road..." Penguin said and the man laughed.

"Yo. Did you find anything yet? I think those two did, if he's after them." Naguri said, now being concerned and looking towards the forest again.

The footsteps inside the forest came closer to the two terrified teens. Law cursed himself for not taking Kikoku with him. The bear suddenly stopped its movement completely and glared at something behind the teens.

"Leave." A deep voice said and the bear roared once again, not listening to the man. "... You have nothing to do here. LEAVE." He said, more sternly and both Law and Sanji felt a weird sensation in their bodies, like they were going to faint. Law felt his knees about to give in on him.

The bear growled at them all and slowly but surely left them. Law turned around to see who it was that talked, but saw no one. All that was left was footprints in the mud. He heard a loud thud accompanied by a splash, and when he turned to check on Sanji he saw the other had fallen on his knees and was trembling.

"Sanji, it left. Before it comes back we should run." Law said, though he wasn't in a better condition. Law helped Sanji up and then the two left the spot.

After walking around for awhile, Sanji collapsed again. He was shaking in fear and since he was completely drenched from the rain he was freezing cold. Law wanted to yell at him to get up and walk, but knew that Sanji wouldn't be able to when he was like this.

"Sanji. If we don't keep moving that bear might find us again." Law said as he looked around and Sanji nodded. He knew that, but his legs wouldn't move a bit.

"Stupid legs...!" Sanji mumbled and punched on them for a bit, before stopping. He slowly tried to get up, but he fell down again.

"Sanji, let me help-" Law started but got interrupted by Sanji whisper- shouting at him.

"Don't help me! I can get up by myself."

"... If you say so." Law said and waited patiently for his blonde friend to get up.

Sanji eventually did, but was a bit unsteady.

"Let's just keep going. Luffy is waiting..." Sanji said and walked past Law, accidentally shoving his shoulder when he did.

"So his motivation is that guy? I'm kinda curious to see who he is..." Law mumbled and then walked after, hoping the other group was safe and sound.

The other group started to run towards Mt. Corvo. Naguri yelled at them that it was dangerous without a compass, nearly impossible to leave the place which made them stop. Shachi wanted to message Law, but Naguri said that if they're hiding from the King, it would just blow their cover and it might kill them.

"Then what are we supposed to do?!" Zoro suddenly yelled and his glare was met with calm eyes. "Luffy... Luffy and all those kids who have been kidnapped are in there and we're useless here!"

"Zoro, calm down! Wait a second, how do you know all this anyway? You even knew what we were up to just by looking at us." Penguin suddenly asked and Naguri sighed. He fumbled with his hat a little bit before he spoke.
