Michael POV

I couldn't understand why the Creator let this happened again. He knew from the start that Nicholas would have fallen in love with this human girl, but He summoned him anyway. I begged Him for different decision, but He was firm.

"War is needed for now," He said.

"At what cost my Lord? I thought You love them."

"They received their chances, it's time to make a change."

"My Lord, I don't understand."

"You don't have to. Tell to no one, Michael. Not even to Gabriel and Raphael. Just do as I say." He left after that.

I replayed that memory again and again while I was listening Gabriel and Raphael argued. We need Raphael and his warriors.

"Only for an angel and a human, you declared war to fallen angels," He said angrily to Gabriel. "I can understand His action," He said that purposely pointing finger at me, "but You, Gabriel, why can you even said yes to that."

Of course He will say that. They all thought that I love war and couldn't wait Armageddon to come so I create disputes that lead to war.

"Why You have to say that, Raphael? You know that He wants peace as much as We want. We must act fast. Lucy already made conflict in many countries all over the world. Chaos, hunger and natural disasters are just beginning. Her father is orchestrating the whole thing. Rosewood is our place, where all Angels dwell, but soon they will spread their plagues there too."

"Many Angels will die because of the war, how could I easily agree to it?!"

Raphael was always the cautious and play by the rule. If He refused I could still command Him, but it will be different, obeying and fighting for what you believe is not the same.

"How about Mary?" Gabriel asked.

Gabriel saying about Mary was not expected.

"What?" Raphael upset, "you dare to throw that to my face?!!!"

Mary was a human. Raphael was deeply touched by her. Not only she was a true believer of Creator's Son, she dedicated her life to do good things to other humans. She was a saint. Raphael secretly loved her.

"Maybe we should talk to her," I said to Gabriel.

"Don't you dare come to her," He said with fire in His eyes.

"She's not yours to claim. I can go to her anytime I want." I said to Him with my whole angelic power earning his submission to me as his commander. "While we disagreeing here, Humans are suffering. We have to act fast."

"Alright. I don't understand why you asked my opinion in the first place. In the end you only need to command me and I must obey." He finally said that in defeat.

"I want you to believe in what we're going to do, not because I said so," I said to him. "First, all of our angels must be spread to protect human all over the world. But the three of us will stay in Rosewood. They will only win this war if Lucy can trick Mia to be a vessel of satan's son. We must kill Lucy."

"Not that easy. The dragon won't let his daughter die," Raphael said in doubt.

"I have a plan. But now is not the time. We must now protect Nicholas and Mia. They're going to get married soon. We have to be in the ceremony."

"Gabriel and I will go to Loria, command Angels to all over the world. Then we will join you in the ceremony. Never trust church. Lucy has invaded church for a long time." Raphael warned me.
