Jay's P.O.V

I feel like I'm in an episode of Law & Order. Right now I'm being held in the typical interrogation room with the double-sided mirror, where they can see you but you can't see them.

I've been at this damn precinct for maybe four hours if not more, and I'm tired of waiting around.

"How long y'all bitches gon keep me in here!?" I shouted, losing control and yelling at the mirror.

I'm no lawyer, but I know the law well enough to know I don't have to talk to them without mines present. I've already told them that, that's probably why they making me sit in here so long.

They mad because I wouldn't answer none of they questions, they ain't getting shit out of me. I know how to keep my mouth shut.

Forty Five more minutes passed by, and I'm still just sitting in this room. Nobody's came in to talk to me in over an hour now, which is some bullshit. I have no idea what's going on.

I got up and started pacing in the small space, feeling myself about to lose control again. I hate this waiting shit, it's the worst part of it all, not knowing what's going to happen next and just waiting around for hours.

Sadly, I've been in situations like this plenty of times before, so I just need to relax and be calm. Bey would tell me to do exactly that if she was around.

. . ."Jay, calm down please. Sit" Beyoncé said grabbing my arm and gently pulling me down to sit next to her on the courthouse bench in the hallway.

"How I'm supposed to calm down when I don't know what the hell is going on in there?" I said loosing my suit tie. "I might be going to Juvie, we don't know what the hell they saying in that room"

"Exactly, we don't know, so don't assume" She said grabbing hold of my hand, interlocking our fingers. "Just think positive, ok. And if it turns out the judge deciding to send you to Juvie, we can just book it. I'm talkin Speedy Gonzalez run up outta here soon as they tell us" She joked.

I chuckled lightly. "Why you crackin jokes right now, ma? My moms & lawyer can come out any minute and tell me I'm going to Juvie, this serious"

"I'm serious too, I'd really run up outta here and be on the run with you, Jay. We can go to like California or someplace, I honestly don't care where we go, as long as we together. You my bestfriend, there's nothing I wouldn't do for you, nothing" She stressed the nothing part.

I sucked my teeth. "Here you go making a nigga heart warm and shit" I smiled holding my chest. "You a ryda foreal, I love that about you. Don't ever change, baby"

"I won't" She said in the most serious way.

She's such a badass, I really love this girl. She got a nigga all in my feelings, only she can make me feel like I do, I swear.

"Aight, and don't worry about going on the run with me, ma. I wouldn't put you through that, we too young to be tryna flee the state together and shit. I'ma just do my little time. I'm good as long as you hold me down through it all, I need that"

"You got that. You know I'm sticking with you through whatever, bighead" She smiled. "So don't even stress, just relax. Whatever happens gon happen, it is what it is. We got eachother no matter what though, fuck what life throws at us". . .
