¤Two Days Later

Bey's P.O.V

"No, I don't want no scrub, a scrub is a guy who can't get no love from me, hangin out the passenger's side of his bestfriends ride, trying to holler at me" I'm singing along to the music playing in the one earphone bud I have in my ear while walking across campus. "I don't want no scrub, a scrub is a gu--"

"Beyoncé!" I heard someone shout my name from nearby.

I pulled the earphone out my ear to be sure I hear my name, then I turned around and see a classmate of mines speed-walking towards me.

"Hey" He smiled once reaching me.

"Hi, Josh" I returned a friendly smile.

"Um, you forgot your physiology book and notebook in the lecture hall at your desk" He said holding them out for me.

"Oh crap, thank you" I grabbed them from him. "I woulda been so mad when I got home and realized I didn't have my notes and book with me"

"I bet" He chuckled. "I saw you rushing out soon as we were dismissed, and when I noticed you'd left out without your stuff, I ran after you. Hence, the sweaty forehead and all" He wiped his moist forehead with the back of his hand.

I giggled. "Well thank you very much, I appreciate it"

"Don't mention it, it was no problem at all" He said flashing a smile. "So um..." He placed a hand on the back of his neck before looking away from me, like he's nervous for some reason. "By any chance, do you um...have plans for tonight?" He looked into my face.

Ohhh, okay. I see why he's looking so nervous now, he's asking me out. I should've known he liked me, I always catch him staring my way during class.

"Yup, I plan on doing homework, homework, and more homework" I answered his question truthfully. "I have tons of work to catch up on, I don't have any time for nothing else"

"Oh" He said bringing his hand down to his side. "Well uh, if you need someone to help you, I could. I'm passing our Human Physiology class with an A, but I wouldn't mind helping you at all with any other class either"

"Okay, I'll keep that in mind. I'm good for now though" I politely turned him down. "The work isn't hard for me"

"Of course it's not, you're smart as hell" He smiled. "I hope you get everything done with no problem then, see you tomorrow. Have a good rest of your day"

"Thanks, bye" I waved with a smile.

"Bye" He waved before turning to walk away.

I shoved my earphone back into my ear, then started walking torwards the parking lot again. I'm done with my classes for today, now I'm heading home.

I have so much damn homework to do, I probably should've accepted Josh's offer to help me. I only declined because he obviously likes me, and I don't wanna lead him on by hanging with him off campus.

I reached my Range Rover and unlocked it before opening the backdoor and placing my backpack and books inside. Soon as I shut the door, my phone began ringing.

I pulled it out my back pocket and looked at the caller ID. Seeing it's a call from a private number, I answered with the quickness.

The computerized operator did her whole opening question, I accepted the charges like always, then leaned on my car awaiting the sound of my man's voice.
