Chapter 12

My eyes cracked open the next day and I bolt up gasping for air. This is so weird, I love my nightmares now I am terrified. The entire dream went to complete hell, and I'm already fucking in hell! I heard a woman calling my name, without any control of my body I started to run to it. Behind me though something was chasing me. It was big and dark and had a black cloak over its face. The darkness was calling to me too, but it was scaring me, and it repelled me. The woman's voice kept calling to me and telling me to keep running.

Yet not too far behind was the darkness. Then a voice came from it that was all too familiar. A mocking voice that told me to run to the light. It said that you won't make it anyway. Then the light kept getting brighter. From the light was a light angel, but she seemed so familiar. She had jet black hair like I did and my eyes. I didn't care who this light angel was but I was going to go to her so she can help me. The voice in the darkness kept getting louder and the voice started to laugh at my attempts. The light angel woman kept calling to me.

"Soleil! Run honey run! You have to sweetie! Please, run, you belong with me!" The light angel cried as I was getting closer. The darkness was laughing at me and before I could touch her two hands latched onto my ankles and started to drag me into a deep opening in the ground. The light angel was calling for me, but the dark voice said.

"You belong to me forever!" When I turn around the hood is off and Raven is there laughing as she drags me into the fiery pit with her. I turned back to the woman reaching out for her hand, and three words that I thought I never say flew out my mouth.

"Mother!" I cried desperately for her to save me, "Help me!" This only made Raven laugh more as she dragged me in further. The light angel I called mother reached out her hand as far as she could and touches my finger tips. Within the touch a blast of light comes from my chest.

"Only you can save yourself and Isabelle! You were always hers! You were meant to be light! It is your true light, don't let Raven destroy the light that you have left in your soul!" Before another word could be said I felt a severe pain on my right wing. I hollered in pain and the light angel wept more. I look at my wing and it has a bloody R carved into it. I try to hold on to the weakening earth, but my earth came with me as I was pulled into the fire pit with Raven.

Before I fell to my death I woke up. I look around frantically and see where I am. Not a big surprise that I am naked in Raven's bed. I groan to myself and wipe the sweat from my forehead. I clutch onto my heart and see visions. Visions of the light angel. I can see her when she was pregnant, and she was in the hospital bed with my father next to her holding her hand. Then a doctor comes in and tells them something. Father gets upset and shakes his head furiously no, but the light angel takes hold of his hand gently. She pulls him down for a kiss, and tells him something in his ear with.

Moments later she is giving birth. Father is being pushed outside and is kept away from the room. The light angel is pushing and the baby is coming out then it is all the way out. The light angel then closes her eyes and all the detectors say that she is dead. Father is screaming and falls on his knees shaking and screaming. Later after her body was taken away. He is given the baby. He cradles the child in his arms with tear coming from his eyes. The doctor comes in and ask him what the name of the child will be. He sniffles for a second and his eyes soften.

"She wanted her name to be Soleil, so her name is Soleil... Maya Orton." The visions end when I heard my name and the name of Maya echo through my head. That woman was truly my mother. She is a light angel? How is that possible? I'm a dark angel but she is light. Mostly when humans turn into angels their children if they had any are usually what they are... Raven! My father sold me to her! That is how I am here! Or maybe it truly is my light. Maybe I am meant to be a dark angel. But this is all because of my father. And I'm sure to have my revenge on him.

"What's wrong with you?" Raven's voice pulls me out my deep thoughts. I look up and see her in her see through robe. I rub my eyes and shake my head. I need to talk to Alexander, and ask him bout that prophesy on the tree last night. He is pretty smart so I can figure it out.

"Nothing, I just need to talk with Alexander." Raven laughs evilly then looks back at me with her evil green eyes.

"Don't waist your breath Soleil honey. You wont find him or the other one." I gulp and get up from the bed with the blanket wrapped around me.

"Why, what happened to them?" Raven smirks then comes over to me. She twirls a strand of my black hair around her finger.

"They knew too much." I gulp again. She killed them. Raven just killed them and I know it was without warning. Raven strokes my cheek then grabs the back of my hair roughly.

"And just remember hun..." She slowly leans into my ear, "You know too much too. And its been three months since I sent you after that half breed. I want that girl dead, you better do it, or I will make sure you wished you killed her. You know very well that I have many games to play with that girl until I have her begging for me to kill her. Is that understood?" I nod my head slightly.

"Clearly." Raven snickers in my ear then rips the blanket from my body exposing me to her. She takes off her robe and presses our bodies together.

"You feel so good against me." She huskily whispers into my ear. Her other hand starts to feel on me.

"Raven-"

"Shut up!" She hisses at me and throws me down on the bed. Raven leaps on top of me and ties me up to the headboard. I close my eyes and try to think of Isabelle. I try to imagine her hands roaming on my body, her body pressing on mine. Lost in my dream I begin to rock my hips against hers. A low moan comes from her in my fantasy, and her lips press onto mine.
