Chapter 23

Isabelle

Day and night came again. Still Soleil hasn't come around. All I wanted to do was be held by her. More than anything I just wanted her to kiss me all over, and make me feel like I was loved. It has been so hard not being able to comfort her, or help her heal. I knew she was in pain that night, and I know that Raven had to put her through more pain. The thought just sickens me.

I didn't notice that tears were falling to my pillow until the space around my face was wet. Sitting up I wipe the tears from my face. I miss her so much, and I just feel that she's in pain every second she is with that horrible woman that happens to be my aunt. Then out of nowhere a shadow swooped across my balcony. It startled me for a split second then I went to grab the special gun Dove gave me. She told me that the bullets in this one will definitely kill angels. It doesn't have to be a critical hit either, and that's good for me cause I can't shoot too well.

My feet shuffle as I make my way to the balcony door. Slowly I pull the curtains back, no one was there. All that was there was a black rose. I know this is stupid for me to do, but I opened the door and walked up to the rose. As if on que the shadow swoops up and stops right in front of me. There is front of me stands my girlfriend. She looks just as perfect from the first time I saw her.

"Put that gun down before you blow your head off sunshine." She smiles at me and takes the gun from my hand. I'm at a loss of words. I haven't seen her in almost three weeks now here she is and I haven't moved at inch. Soleil smiles at me then takes me up into her strong arms. Soon after her lips are on mine. My heart exploded into joyous flames. She's here, she's really here!

"I missed you." I said the second our lips parted. Soleil pulls me into her chest for a hug. I missed her hugs, they were always so warm. Just the warmth of her body made me feel safe. I look behind her quickly then pull her into my room, and I smash my lips on hers. I don't even know why I did it, but I just couldn't keep away from her anymore.

In a quick movement Soleil took off her jacket, her shirt, and was going after her belt. Once again I guess out of impulse I removed her hands from her belt and undid it myself. Again to my surprise I unzipped her pants. Soleil gasps then picks me up in her strong arms. They are stronger than I remember. It feels like they have become marble.

She holds me up with one arm and uses the other to unbutton my shirt. As the layer of clothing revealed my pale skin Soleil attacked it with her lips and tongue. A moan escaped my lips, and my angel chuckles.

"I've missed your moans... I've missed you." We kiss again and slowly we fall back on the bed. I look up into those grey pools and get lost.

"I missed you more than you'll ever know." She moves my white hair out my face then kisses me again. Both of her hands travel down my body to the hem of my pants. She grabs at them then looks into my eyes. I know that look, she wants me. I've been more and more willing to give myself to her, but I'm still scared.

"I know that look." Soleil chuckles, "it's all up to you baby. You know that right?" I nod, her hands leave my pajama pants. Soleil gets off me and I sit up next to her on the edge of the bed. My first concern is her wounds. Inspecting her body I see nothing wrong with her, at least no open wounds. I can still remember every cut, bite, and scratch on her body that night. I look and see they are now faded scars. They made me feel sad, but they also complimented her wonderful body. Slowly my hands reach out to touch her, she moves closer to my hands.

She takes in a quick breath when my fingertips make contact with her abdomen. I try to keep my moan in, but it was futile. The hard yet softness of her body just made me go wild. I guess Soleil could see that look in my eye as my hands ran over her body. She takes my hands and kisses them. Sadness fills me, I know she will have to go back to that abusive woman.
