Chapter 25

The day was filled with fun and laughter. Isabelle eye's would light up with every new wonder we came across. Every time I could feel bits of dark granite around my dark heart break away with each passing second I spend with her. It is such a relief to feel that bad, that evil leave me.

After all the walking and climbing Izzy's feet started to hurt. Being the good girlfriend I am I carried her back to the temple. While we were on the way back she would have me stop so she could pick some flowers. She wanted to me to stop at a field of sunflowers. When she was done she got on my back again and made a crown out the sunflowers.

"Very appropriate... a crown of sunflowers for the sun of my heart." Isabelle giggles and kisses my head.

"Oh you sweetheart!" She kisses my head again. The sun starts to set, we're going to be late for the feast. This time I might want to keep Iz away from the wine. At the same time though maybe I shouldn't. I do have a long night planned for the two of us. A night full of love, and I won't just show her I'll tell her that I love her. It would be stupid to hold it back any longer.

"We better get back now if we want to take a bath." Isabelle nods and I teleport into our spacious room. All the rooms are like this but I like ours the most just because it's ours.

"Where are our towels and clothes?" I smile then take her hand again. I walk down through the halls with her until we get to the bath house. There are different pools and I have reserved one just for us so we can be alone.

The bath house is always hot. The streaming water mixed with helpful herbs an oils make it smell amazing too.

"I know you are shy about your body, so I have one set up just for us." I pull away the curtain to expose our bath. It's not like the much bigger pools in here. This one was made for couples, so it's a little smaller. Izzy looks around in awe at the bath and Indian styled art on the walls. She walks up to the water and puts her foot in. She sighs then looks up at me. Her face starts to blush seeing the look in my eyes.

"I'm going to have to be naked in front of you again?" I nod slowly. A smirk comes across her face.

"If you told me that few months ago I would have said no way." She walks up to me and puts my hands on her hips, "But I trust you now... Why don't you take off my clothes and I'll take off yours."

"Nothing would make me happier." I remove her dress slowly then I take off the rest. I thought she looked beautiful that night. She looks even more stunning in the light. She smiles then starts taking off my shirt and pants. I have no underwear under so her eyes go a little wide. She scans my body. Not one scar from my past abuse is overlooked. Finally she looks up into my eyes and cups one of my cheeks softly in her palm.

"You're so beautiful Soleil Orton." Those few words just made my heart beat faster than ever. Raven never said I was beautiful unless she was mocking me or about to beat me. Hearing those words, and knowing that she meant it as a compliment means the world to me.

"You are the most beautiful person in all the realms Isabelle Johnston." I peck her lips then start to leave kisses down her neck. She grabs my shoulders and whimpers against my bare neck. For once my crazed lust doesn't take me over. My time away from Raven is doing wonders. I'm still lustful, but not the savage way I used to be. I want to to be gentle, loving, and compassionate.

Isabelle starts to press her body flush against mine. I take that hint and pick her up in my arms. Slowly I walk into the warm water. Iz starts to moan, that's when I realized that my finger had slipped inside her. She shakes against me and buries her face in the crook of my neck. She moves her hips against my finger and she jolts. She moans louder into my ear. My body shutters.
