Chapter 2

Isabelle

Oh my gosh, she's coming over here. I heard a lot of rumors about the dark and mysterious Soleil Orton. I know she is one of the hottest girls at school, but she doesn't hang out with anyone, pretty much antisocial. She might be changing her ways this year, and I think I'm the lucky girl that will be her new friend. I know most of the girls around here will hate me after this, they are watching us now. And those stunning grey eyes don't leave my eyes as she comes to me.

"Izzy, just don't talk to her. Let's go right now." Angelina says griping my shoulder. Dove nods in agreement.

"Guys common, she just want to talk. I bet she just wants a friend." After I say that to my two best friends Soleil comes up to me. A stunning confident smile crosses her face, no doubt I'm blushing right now.

"Hey there."  I know my cheeks have to be burning red.

"Hi." Soleil stares at me intently like she is trying to figure me out. There really isn't much to figure out. I'm just a regular 17 year old lesbian girl. I've never had a girlfriend or dated anyone as matter of fact. Yet Soleil Orton has been my dream girl for so long.

"Does she always get this red?" She tilts her head with a sly grin. It only makes my cheeks turn a deeper red. Dove and Angelina take my sides almost protectively.

"It is none of your concern about her Soleil!" Dove spits at her. Then those grey eyes turn deadly making me jolt. This girl is scary when she wants to be.

"Can't I just try to make a new friend ladies? I can tell we could be good friends... Don't you think Isabelle?" Oh my god she knows my name! If my face could get any redder then it would. I nod my head slightly and that grin comes back to her angelic face. Her hand extends to me slowly, her hands are so soft looking. I wouldn't mind her hand roaming... oh my god! Why must I think this way about her? She just has that alluring aura about her that makes her so irresistible.

"Why don't we shake on it sunshine?" Then suddenly the bell rings telling all of us another painfully boring school year is coming on us.

"We have to go!" Angelina and pull me away from her before I can touch her hand.

"I'll see you around Soleil!" I call back to her. We turn the corner then my friends pull me along to my first class.

"What was that? Why are you guys so mean to her?" 

"Do you want me to be honest?" Dove stares me right in the face, her hazel eyes bore into mine. I nod timidly under her gaze. Dove and Angelina have been with me since I was very small. They have always been protective of me, and I have always trusted their judgment on things. But as of late more like since middle school they have been controlling my every move. I really don't like it, but I don't have the guts to tell them no.

"Listen closely then, she is a complete freak! Common now Izzy, what do you really think a girl like that, all badass, reeking of broken hearts and just pure evil, wants with an innocent, sweet and extremely innocent girl like you?" Angelina puts her two fingers in a circle then puts her other finger through it. I tilt my head not knowing what that gesture means. Angelina sighs deeply then puts her hands on my shoulders.

"She wants to have sex with you." I gasp and shake my head no.

"No way! Your being judgmental!" 

"No, we are telling you the truth! It has nothing to do about what she is Isabelle, we are just trying to look out for you. Please try to understand okay, Soleil is a girl you don't want to get involved with." Knowing that I can't fight them I nod submissively to their demands. I know they might be right, but they know as much about Soleil as I do. I really want to get to know her though, there is something inside me that wants to crowd her, and another side wants to stay away from her.
