Chapter 26

Soleil

With yet another hard pull Isabelle throws me to the matt again. This one hurts more than the last. She has gotten strong over the past two months. Her angel has truly taken over. Barely a shred of human is in her anymore. The human that is left however is preventing her from full power and her wings. I've been hoping that they would come out, but they haven't unfortunately.

"Soleil are you okay?" Izzy's coos over me. My vision clears and the only thing I see is her standing over me. She sits down next to me and puts my head in her lap. I smile up at her even though I'm in pain.

"I've taught you well, but don't think for a second-" With a swift motion I pin her down and straddle her. She gasp and giggles when I move down to her ear.

"Don't think for a second that you could actually beat me in an actual fight." I start nibbling on her neck. She squirms under me.

"Soleil!" She whines, "Common you had enough last night." I look back at her, her cheeks have gone red. Last night was the best night we have had together so far. I chuckle and put my forehead on hers.

"No matter how many times we do it. I still feel like it's the first time." Iz giggles and pecks my lips.

"Softy." I roll my eyes, get off her, then help her to her feet. I pull her into my arms and kiss her again. This is a sad day for the both of us. Her birthday is at the end of the month, and as agreed she has to go back to the mortal realm.

"I know your sad." She says against my neck, "It's not like your not going to be there most days." I smile.

"Yes, but I've gotten used to it just being us."

"Yeah me too. But you're staying with me tonight right?" I stop. I have plans for tonight. I knew Izzy would be gone and protected, so I've decided that tonight is the night. Tonight is the night my father dies. I look back down at her.

"No... I got something to do tonight." Iz tilts her head to the side.

"What are you doing?" I look down at her then kiss the top of her head.

"Just some business that needs to be taken care of in the mortal realm. When it's done I'll be with you." She looks disappointed, but she nods her head. As if on cue Dove and Angelina fly down from the sky. They already have Isabelle's stuff in her bags.

"I hope you are ready to go. You can take a shower when you get home Izzy." Angelina pats Izzy's back. I let her go but still hold onto her hand.

"Common we have to make this move quickly. Don't worry about a protective shield, Eve put one up already." I grunt at Dove. I've tried to like her, but she really is testing me. I wonder how Angelina deals with her.

"Fine then." I turn to Iz and pull her into my body. In a flash we are in her room. She looks around and Dove and Angelina appear.

"You two stay with her for the night. I have to take care of some loose ends." Dove stares at me weirdly then blows what I said off. I give Izzy one last kiss then I fly off into the dark. A storm is coming and so is the grand moon. The storm doesn't bother me, but the grand moon will.

Whenever the moon gets that big it is like a block to other realms. I won't be able to go back to the Oasis for a while. That being said I'm in danger. Raven has had her angels looking for me since I left. I just got word that they came to the Oasis just after we left. There's no more safety anywhere. The only safe place is the light realm. I'll go there with Isabelle when the time is right.

All these thoughts of love and compassion must be tossed aside. I'm about to kill the evil that has destroyed my life. I've prepared for this for months. I do have to wander... will I be able to do it?
