Recap :
The next morning I awoke to find Noel jumping on my bed, saying "Get up Sissy! Get up, get up!"
A look at the clock on my sidetable made me let out an audible groan. It was only 8:30 in the morning. That was far too early for her to be waking me up, especially since I had gotten in bed after three that morning.
"Go away, Noel." I mumbled, it probably sounded disoriented because I had my face buried in the pillow, but I was sure she got the hint.
"But the really cute guy is here eating breakfast." She informed me.
Ava's POV
My eyes popped open at my baby sister's words. Parker was still at my house.
"Hurry up Sissy! He's eating breakfast with Daddy!" She squealed excitedly before jumping off my bed and rushing back to the front of the house, probably to stare at Parker some more.
I laid there for a moment and let out a yawn. The memories of the night before flooded my brain and I felt my cheeks flush at the thought. Did I really want to go and face after last night? The answer was yes.
I shoved the blue and pink comforter off of my body and stood in front of the mirror. Why did I have to look so ugly in the morning? I took one of the make up remover wipes from the package and began to do damage control on my face. I hadn't even bothered to take my make up off before I went to bed, so I was just wiped away the stray eyeliner and mascara. I gave a sigh , then shrugged. I took hold of the curly hair my mother had cursed me with and braided it to the side. My appearance had improved, but it still needed work.. unfortunately for Parker, I wasn't going to put in the work to improve it anymore.
I slowly walked into the kitchen and saw my father talking with Parker. I could tell that Daddy still didn't know what to make of the boy. I decided that Poor Parker had been interrogated enough, so I sat down next to my daddy and began to help myself to the food Mama was laying out on the table.
"Good morning." I greeted them.
"Good morning Baby-girl." Daddy replied, giving me a smile.
"Good morning Sweetheart." Mama said as she kissed my forehead.
"Thank you for letting me stays at night Mr. and Mrs. Lake." Parker spoke to my parents.
"Oh you're welcome." My mother told him sincerely. She never minded having house guests.
"What do y'all plan on doing today?" Daddy asked as he bit into a piece of bacon.
"I was thinking that we could just have a lazy day, maybe go skating later.." I suggested.
"That sounds nice." Daddy told me.
"Even though you hate skating." My mother muttered and I stifled a life, covering it up with a cough as I remembered the story about my parents skating date when they were teenagers. It was about this time that Blaine came stumbling into the kitchen, mouth hanging open as he yawned.
"I'm going to go check on Aiden." I told them, it was unusual for him to sleep in past nine.
I scampered down the hallway, passing my parents room, my little sisters room, my room, and Blaine's room in the process. I never understood why my parents gave two teenage boys the room on the other end of the house. I would have understood if our house was two stories high, but it wasn't. And obviously it wasn't that hard to get in and out of the windows. They practically gave my brothers am escape route.
I stepped side the still dark room. I glanced over to Andrew's side of the room out of habit and saw that it was neater than usual. Parker had made the bed, a chore that Andrew never did. At least he cleaned up after himself. I then turned back to Aiden, who's bed was right in front of me.
