Chapter 11

Mike's POV

After I cried my heart out, I went to the basement seeing El in her fort. As much as I wanted to believe her, I knew my friends. Will's Dead and who knows maybe Y/N is dead now too.

I curled up on the couch with a blanket reading a comic boom that I took from Dustin. I eventually fell asleep not caring what Eleven does. At this point I wanted to forget what happened tonight.

~Next Morning~

I felt horrible from crying last night, but it's been a few days and it's Will's funeral. I got ready with my dad, heading to the bathroom before him. I splashed water into my face, shaking my head, my dad walked in on me walking to the mirror.

"Ready Mike?" He asked, I shrugged my shoulders walking out of my room downstairs. Mom and Nancy were downstairs already snacking. We all got in the car driving to Will's funeral, if I had to be honest, none of us wanted to be here.

This was all too much. I got out of the car, finding Dustin and Lucas, I stood with them, Dustin looked around before speaking up.

"Mr Clark, he'll know something. Something about the gate, we need to find Will"

"And Y/N" Lucas added, I agreed with them. We need to find information if we want to find Will and Y/N. The funeral was starting, we went over with our parents, before the ceremony starts.

Your POV

Will and I have been sitting at the lake forever, it may be dark, gloomy and cold. But you could say if you have someone with you, it's never dark.

I got bored so I started counting Will's hair, he'd keep laughing at me. At one point we got so bored of sitting here staring out to the lake. We started seeing who could through a rock the furthest till I nearly fell over the cliff, and Will had to get me.

I kept changing the position I was sitting in, I was getting scared and didn't know what to do. I wanted to get home, I wanted to see Steve, Mike, Lucas and Dustin the curly haired boy. I started crying thinking about everything, then I realized what is Will going through.

"Will?" I said turning myself towards him, he lifted his head up looking in my direction. He smiled slightly, I couldn't help but smile as his was so beautiful.

"Yea?" I looked around trying to find some way to tell him what I want to say without  making it sound rude, or very depressing.

"Have you felt, as if your world was almost ending? Like you might be stuck here?" I asked, I don't know if what I meant got passed through to him, like if caught on.

"I guess, I've been trying to communicate with Mom, she knows I'm alive some where, I just don't know where." He said, I started going on and on, about how we'll be stuck here, just the two of alone and it's not gonna be good, people will forget about us.

I looked for a split second into Will's direction, I didn't see what happened coming. His soft lips with against mine, I closed my eyes forgetting about what I was talking about. Will moved closer to me, I scooted towards him as well.

"Will" I said, moving slowly away from him, he looked at me as I stared at him, not loosing each other's glance's. He simply kept staring at me, I couldn't resist and start to laugh a slight bit. I've liked Will for awhile, and I think he may like me.

"Y/N" He said in a low tone, looking out towards the lake. I got up standing beside him, it may be dark but we can tell when it's day and when it's not. There's a slight bit of sun that comes out through the dark clouds that makes its way towards the ground.

We stood side by side, Will looked at me, from the corner of my eye I could see him smiling. That's one of the smile I haven't seen in the longest time, since he's been with his brother.

"What?" I asked chuckling looking in his direction, he had a smirk on his face. I don't want to know what he's thinking, it could be anything.

"What would you do If I or you fell down there?" He asked, he's kidding, I'm already afraid of heights not only that, I almost fell earlier, thanks to him, I'm still up here.

"I'd kill you, you know I'm afraid of heights." I said backing away from the edge and further away from him. No way am I going near him if that's what he's thinking, he may be cute. I may have a crush on him as well but that does not mean he can throw me off the edge or anything like that.

"Will stay away from me." I said turning around running away from him. I decided to head to castle Byers, he'll find me eventually but for now, he's not going to get to me.

"Come on, you can't run from me. Your the only other person here, and I'm not stupid. You'll come back and find me." I heard Will yell, I was tired and wanted to sleep, he's cute funny, but I won't be the one crawling back to him, he'll be the one to crawl back to me.
