I frantically jump up off the couch to join Halley and Ryan with finding Bryanna. "Wait! I'm coming too!" I shout to them. They stop suddenly and turn back around. "Okay. Anyone else care to join?" Halley asks confidently. "Yeah....I'll come too." Shawn stands beside me and we smile at one another. It's obvious what's going on, we just haven't made anything official....yet. Eirelyn stands up and goes closer to Ryan and Halley, she kinda likes him, but she knows that him and Halley have feelings for one another. Finally, Dylan offers to join us as well. We all throw on our backpacks, grab some of the guns and knifes, and head out the door. The weather is getting even cooler now, I'm going to guess it's mid fall, probably November. It's hard to tell when you loose track on time, days, and months. I have no idea what we'll do when winter comes around. We won't be able to go out onto the island where it's safe, until we find everyone else. We need to bring a whole bunch of supplies like food, water, weapons, clothes, hygiene care, shelter supplies, really.... everything. As I continue to follow Dylan, who's in front of me, Shawn places his hand on my shoulder. "Hey... look we'll find Bryanna and survive along the way." He tries to comfort me. I know he's right, it's just, what if we can't find them? Then if any of us die or get hurt, we did it for nothing. What if we find them and they're dead?! I can't imagine seeing my best friend and Max dead. Shawn would be crushed seeing one of his only "buds" laying there dead, or even worse, walking but dead. Haha, Walking Dead. I used to love that show for the longest time, but being in the situation doesn't make it enjoyable anymore. I never had to run for my life, I never had to survive natural disasters, and I most certainly had never had to fight zombies. If I could go back to that week it all started, I would've laughed at the fact I'm still alive. The way I found Dylan was shocking because he was the last person I'd ever want to be stuck with. Ever. But, we ended up finding so many others which made the fight worth it. That's what I'm thinking about right now, the fight will be worth it. "Can I ask you something?" I ask Shawn looking back behind me. He nods his head. "If you hadn't been here, and instead he stuck back when it was all normal. Would you have changed who you chose to like?" I ask him. I can't help but wonder wether he really likes me or not, or if he would've even have considered it. He sighs and stops. "Caroline. I wouldn't have changed a single thing. The one thing I would've changed was not telling you that I liked you sooner." He grinned at me as I looked back up and dazed into his beautiful, dreamy, eyes. We embraced into a hug and kissed while the others continued on their route. Nobody stopped, which I didn't mind. "I love you Caroline. To the moon and back." Shawn stated in his soft voice. I continued to hug him. "I love you too, Shawn." I can't believe that just happened. I told someone I loved them and they love me back! This is crazy! "I know it's kinda early, but, would you er-um, like to be my gi-girlfriend?" He asks awkwardly. I smile the biggest smile ever. "Umm..yes!" I say excitedly. Wow. This is the best day, but also the worst. We still haven't found Max and Bryanna. Where could they be?
