Hey guys. I thought it'd be cool to make a chapter about what happened to Bryanna's parents, so here's a "flashback" to what really happened. Please give me feedback on who else's story you'd like to know more about! Thanks! (Mom's perspective)

"Do you have to leave?" Bryanna and Cameron cry to us. "Yes, it's our job. Would you rather us not have a roof over our heads? Or food on the tables?" Dan says. I pull the two of them into a hug and wave them goodbye at the school. "Love you!" We drive off and go onto the highway. It's extremely hot out for September I look at my dashboard and read 45 degrees Celsius. "We're going to be late. The traffic is outrageously busy." Dan mumbles under his breath. "Honey, calm down. We still will have plenty of time before we board the plane." I try to lighten up the mood by putting on the radio.
Radio*
Hey guys it's Sarah here along with Mark. Up next is a very top hit for the summer, by the one and only Shawn Mendes."I wanna follow where she's goes.
I think about her and she knows it.
I wanna let her take control
'Cause every time that she gets close yeah
She pulls me in enough to keep me guessing
And maybe I should stop and start confessing
Confessing, yeah
———-there's nothing holding me back.

I look down at my watch and check the time. "We should be boarding now, I don't know what's taking them so long." Dan says to me. I shrug my shoulders. "Hello everyone. Welcome to WestJet. My name is Kathy. We will be boarding first class and handicap at this moment." The flight attendant put the speaker down. "That's us." As we enter the terminal a huge rush of cold air comes in. "Why's it so cold?!" I shiver and the pilot walks over. "My thermostat states it -31 degrees Celsius out right now. Way too cold for September. There's really high winds but we're hoping to get up high enough and out of it." Dan and him are good friends, so that's why we can find out all this information. Dan used to be a pilot, but then switched over to a business man. We take our seats and I put the warm fuzzy blanket over my lap. "Attention all passengers, we will be taking off in 2 minutes, so please take your seats and fasten your seatbelts." I hear over the pager. We are taken onto the runway and I hear the jets fire up, louder and louder. "Welcome....." the flight attendant talked about safety procedures and what to do, but my mind just shut it all out. Nobody really listens to the instructions anyways.
*******4 hours later*******
The turbulence up here is very strong. We haven't been allowed to go to the bathroom, eat our meals, drink, we've all been buckled the entire time. Their movies haven't been playing either. The flight attendants continue to sit in their one spot and look neutral. I can't take it anymore, I need to talk to Al, the pilot. I unbuckle my seatbelt and stand up. "Beth, what are you doing? Sit down." Dan tries to keep me from leaving but I get past him. The one flight attendant stands up and ushers me to my seat, "Look Ma'am, it's too rough up here, I need you to take your seat." She pushes me back but I get past her. I open the pilot's door and yell over the engine. "What's going o-..." I start but am interrupted by the terrifying sight of a massive dark storm cloud flashing light up ahead. Crap. "Bethany I need you to sit down and hold on." Al screams calmly to me. I nod my head and hurriedly walk over to my seat. "What's going on" Dan asks me. "Hang on. It's going to be a crazy ride." I fasten my seat belt, while I hear Al's voice on the speaker. "Attention all passengers. We are about to enter a storm, so please stay seated and remain calm. Fasten your seat belts, thank you." Suddenly, I can no longer see out my window it's taken over by dark grey, almost black, clouds. The plane starts to tip and gets very rough. Lightening flashes everywhere while the luggage all falls out of the compartments from above. The oxygen masks fall down and show we need to put them on. I see fork lightening hit the wing of the plane and I see sparks fly everywhere. The jet slows down and stops working. Oh no. I hold onto Dan's hand and try to breathe. The plane slowly starts to tilt and we eventually start to fall. The other engine has failed too. Crap! "I love you." Me and Dan both say, if he is saying that, he knows there's no chance of surviving this crash. There's no body's of water anywhere near us. As we fall I see a huge tornado taking over the city. I don't know where we are, but nothing about this seems normal. We finally reach very close to the ground and I close my eyes as I see the wing touch down. All goes black.Author's Note:
The parents died in this crash along with everyone else. Bryanna and Cameron's grandma ended up getting killed the tornado on her drive to Toronto.
