"Why does Stephen get to drive?" Nate grumbled kneeing me in the side accidentally, "I would say sorry but I won't"
I rolled my eyes and pulled my new phone out, playing a quick game of 2048.
We were on our way to school with Stephen and London up front, and Nate and I in the back. We refused to show up to school with Mark so he let us take the black sports car that Des had begged Fields to let us use, while he drove the minivan.
"If this doesn't make us friends easily then I don't know what will" London muttered smoothing her hand over the shiny black interior of the car.
"The back hardly fits Andrea let alone me" Nate hissed finally getting into a comfortable enough position. He was sitting on me slightly and my elbow had to rest against him.
"I hope you don't have some kind of horrible disease" I scrunched my face up as he adjusted himself and he grinned.
"I hope not, too" He had changed out of the horrible outfit and now wore a simple pair of dark khaki's and a navy tshirt.
He looked much better.

"OMG!" London squealed as Stephen parked into the school parking lot, "this place is amazing"
As we were, we were in what was called the senior lot where the seniors were allowed to park. On the other side was the junior/sophomore lot while the freshman's got some kind of bicycle rack that had been overtaken by graffiti.
The lot was chalk full of kids, who looked like they were pulled out of abercrombie ads, hugging and jumping up and down excited for their year to start. I, on the other hand, couldn't care less.
We stepped out of the car, closed our doors, and it seemed like the entire parking lot stood still.
"Who are they?"
"I love that bustier"
"He's totally hot"
Nate looked over at me and coughed loudly.
"Are we allowed to move?" I asked through my teeth. London mutely nodded and I practically stuck to her side. We all met in front of the car and slowly moved to the school entrance but not before, as usual, I came close to my own death.
"Watch out!" A deep voice yelled just as I was pulled out of the way of a flying human death machine.
"You could have killed me!" I yelled watching the football, otherwise known as the object aimed at my destruction, drop onto the road.
"Are you okay?" The same voice wondered and I looked up, allowing my jaw to drop at the specimen before me.
I stared into a pair of deep silvery green eyes with flecks of blue in them and blinked twice. I had never even known there were variations to green; I had always assumed that there was either the nice green and the swampy green, but these eyes were different. They were so bright and clear that it almost hurt to stare into them for too long.
And the face...oh my gosh, the face was perfect. The eyes were set on an angular face with a jaw line crafted by the heavens. A pair of gorgeous pink lips with straight white teeth behind them smiled down at me as a halo of brown hair blew in the wind.
"Are you listening?"
"Yeah"
Lie.
"I've seen you before" he was still standing all too close to me, "You just moved in across from me"
