"Why would Ella do that?"

We were all still in mine and London's room, minus Dr. Mulberry, who had left almost two hours before. He had explained that what I had told the group was highly likely given the fact that the only things in my system were water, moonshine, and sugar. I hadn't eaten anything that day and knew for sure I didn't physically eat anything at their house.

Almost like a cork, the events of that day began to spill forward and I tried my best to recount all the details as best as I could. But just because I was finally remembering, didn't mean it all made 100% sense.

"Wait, Andy, your dropping alot on us; slow down" Mark motioned for me to take a breath and I paused shaking my head.

"I can't calm down, he knows"

"Who knows?" Nate asked me questioningly.

"Him. Essie told me he knows what we know and he's coming for me" All of a sudden, my teeth began chattering at the thought and I remembered the black figure that had pushed me into oncoming traffic.

"Andy, maybe you should get some more rest" London murmured giving the others a look, "You don't look too good"

I stared around wide eyed and noticed the sad way everyone was watching me, "You guys have to listen to me...when I said the word 'crazy' Erick completely lost it and started talking about how 'he' didn't mean to do it and that 'he' didn't want to hurt her"

"So Erick is the crazy one?"

"No, London!" I shouted, "Evan is! I saw the shoes"

"What shoes, Andy?" Stephen asked as if he already knew the answer.

"The ones Essie talked about in the notebook! Elijah got back and went 'why does he always leave these things here?' and...and that's when I fell"

I shook my fidgety hands out and took a deep breath, "And before that, when I was with Erick and Ella...when Erick thought they were out of ear shot he goes; 'Evan really loved Kenya'"

"That's why you came in asking how many Kenya's there were in Belmont" Nate snapped grabbing for my computer and turning it on.

"What are you doing?" London asked giving Nate a glare, "She's not in the proper state of mind to even be giving us information. She fully just said that she saw Essie...we can't run with whatever she's saying right now"

"You know I'm right here, right?" I snapped giving her a cold stare. She only shrugged and turned to the window, where droplets of rain were quickly patting the sill.

"I'm not sure you are" London sniffed turning from the rain, "It's coming down bad out there"

Nate finally murmured, "There was only one Kenya in Belmont...are you sure Erick didn't say a different name?"

"What, do you think I'm crazy too?" I flipped him the bird and he shook his golden hair quickly.

"There's only one Kenya in Belmont, Andrea...Kenya Stevenson"

How hadn't I made the inference before? My mind had literally just stuck to the fact that Evan had had a love interest without even thinking about who she actually was.

"Kenya overdosed on moonshine" I whispered.

That night we worked tirelessly. The floor was a mess of pictures of every single victim, everything we knew about Evan and his family, as well as the botched hospital reports.

"None of it is making sense!" London shrieked throwing a picture over her shoulder and angrily running a hand through her hair.

"Well make it!" Des snapped sifting through Essie's diary, in hopes that we had missed something.
