S.O.T.D: MAPS BY MAROON 5 (ADAM'S LEVINE'S VOICE + THE CHORUS + THE TUNE= ME IN A POOL OF NOTHINGNESS)
~
Back home my friends used to call me a jelly fish. Apparently I was the kind of person that liked to squirm out of situations the moment things got a little weird but there was something different in the air at Belmont high. Here, for some reason, I was convinced that I was a bad ass. Maybe it had to do with the character I was supposed to play or an actual change in my attitude. Regardless of which it was, I was about to harness a shit ton of bravery because i was going to do it. I was going to face Penn.
"Why are you ignoring me?"
I waited for his dark eyes to turn but they didn't.
"Are you about to pass out, Andrea?" Penn's calm voice found me but his eyes didn't and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What? No"
"Do you feel nauseous or like you can't breath? Is the world spinning?" He was tinkering with something in his locker and I let out a loud sigh.
"No, No, and No! What are you talking about?" I finally yelled as kids gave me odd looks, "Go eat your lunch, would you? Stop staring"
At that, his shoulders shook and I could tell he was laughing, "Your a piece of work, Andrea"
"Then why are you ignoring me? I thought we were friends...or something" I placed my hands on my hips and awaited some kind of explanation. I mean, yeah I was pretty sarcastic and occasionally condescending but that didn't mean I wasn't an awesome friend! Besides, Penn was my big ticket with this case, I needed him.
"Listen, Andrea" Penn's voice dipped an octave, "You seem like a really nice girl and all but, no, we are not friends"
He finally turned around to face me and he shrugged.
"This isn't Kansas, not everyone wants to be your friend" He patted me on the shoulder like I was a child, "Sorry"
I watched as he began walking down the hall, to the set of exit doors and tried to bounce back from the invisible slap he had just given me.
"It's lunch time!" I yelled at his retreating back, "And I'm not from Kansas!"
Jerk.

"And why would I help you?" Nate wondered as he took a bite of his roast beef sandwich. I had found him sitting in a corner of the lunch room with a cute blonde practically sweating through his shirt.
"Nate, it's about that thing we were talking about" I gave him a tight smile and looked to the blonde, "I'm sure you could reschedule this lunch date?"
"Yeah, of course! Family first" She smiled at me and I realized that she was actually really pretty and seemed genuinely nice. What was she doing with Nate?
"No, Claire. Andrea is being dramatic" Nate gave me a shielded glare and smiled at Grace, "She'll be leaving now"
Claire gave me an 'I don't know what to do' kind of look and I bit the inside of my cheek. I really didn't want to ruin his new little relationship so early but I had to do what I had to do.
"Please Nate" I scrunched my face up as a tear slid from my eye, "I need your help right now. You're like a brother to me and I don't know who else to go to"
"Good try. No" Nate took another bite of his sandwich and shook his head, "Great acting skills, though"
"Nate!" Claire gasped staring at him in absolute shock, "She's crying!"
