Charmed Again (Part 2/3)

Chapter 7

I had put on the dress that Pandora had stolen from the store. I still couldn't t believe that I was an accessory to the crime of theft. I suppose that I'm going to have to get used to it and that I'm probably over exaggerating.

Once it was on I called to Pandora and she came in my room. She had bought a black lace bralette with a cream lace skirt. She had also bought cream heels with black ankle straps. She had black bracelets wrapped around her right wrist and little dangly black earrings. Her hair was stunningly curled but was brushed through to make it look more natural. She had put make up on and her eyelashes fluttered when she blinked.

She sat me down on my sofa. She pulled out a makeup bag and hair straighteners.

"Why did I agree to do this." I asked myself under my breath.

"Because you need a date. Chris is out there getting dates and anyone can see that you guys both hate each other. So we're going to get him back." She explained turning on the straighteners.

"That is what this about? Making Chris mad?" I asked her.

"No we're making Chris jealous." Pandora corrected me.

I sat there so confused, mumbling to myself trying to figure out what was going on.

"Anna just be quiet so I don't burn you on purpose." Pandora warned.

I closed my mouth as she began to straighten my wavy locks. This is going to be fun..

Pandora had finished making me into a barbie doll and had headed downstairs. She hadn't done too bad but the eyelashes were a bit much for my taste. The box said natural look but I have never seen somebody with eyelashes as long as these.

I looked in the mirror in the bathroom one last time. The sooner I get there the sooner I can leave. I might even have some fun. Caleb's friend could be nice. I doubt that any relationship will develop in the future but a friendship might. After all I'm better at making friends with guys than girls.

I stepped out of the bathroom and headed downstairs.

I walked down the stairs, watching where I stepped in my heels so I didn't break my neck. Just like in her premonition, Pandora was waiting at the bottom of the stairs for me.

As I reached the bottom of the stairs everyone started to file out of the kitchen. I felt blood rushing to my cheeks but I doubt anyone could see it with the amount of makeup Pandora put on me.

Wyatt stood there staring at me, Melinda and her cousins were giggling and Chris walked past me and sat on the sofa.

"Okay so I don't know when we will be back but if there's a problem try and deal with it yourselves." Pandora warned everyone.

Wyatt was still staring at me.

"Have fun." He said with a hurt look to his eyes.

"I doubt that. You don't have to wait up for me either." I told him not making eye contact.

I saw him nod before Pandora was pulling me out of the door. I waved goodbye to everyone and left the manor.

Pandora and I were standing outside P3 waiting for Caleb and his friend. Pandora had told me his name was Jack and that he was a whitelighter. I was being set up on a date with a whitelighter.

"I thought witches weren't allowed to date whitelighters?" I asked Pandora who was looking for sights of her boyfriend.

"You're not really but my aunt and uncle did it so why not everyone else?" She answered.

Fantastic.

A black car pulled up and two guys stepped out of it. I guessed that it was Caleb and his friend Jack by the excitement in Pandora's eyes.

She ran over to them and flung herself on the tallest. They started to kiss and make out. I looked away feeling uncomfortable. Once they were done they all walked over to me.

"You must be Anna." Caleb said extending his hand."Pandora has told me a lot about you."

I shook his hand and smiled to cover up my uncomfort. Then the attention turned to his friend Jack. He had dark brown hair - darker than mine - and it was pushed upwards with gel. It was like Caleb's in style but a different colour. From what I could make out he had brown eyes and was a little shorter than Caleb.

He smiled at me and set of gleaming white teeth flashed me. He had the perfect smile. He seemed to wearing a long sleeved navy shirt, dark jeans and boots.

"I'm Jack." He told me offering his hand.

"I'm Anna." I said shaking it back.

"Okay then kids lets go get some drinks." Caleb announced.

He wrapped his arm around Pandora and headed for the door. Jack politely took my waist and we both headed in the same direction as Caleb and Pandora.

We all stopped at the door. Standing guard was the biggest man I had ever seen in my life. He was bald and big ad muscly and had tattoos up his arms.

"How old are you?" He asked in a deep voice.

"Twenty-one." Pandora replied with a grin.

"Not you. Her." The bouncer said pointing at me.

Ah crap.

Pandora looked at me with worried eyes. I knew that she was thinking of something to do. Then the look in her eyes changed to the devious stare that concerns everyone.

She turned to the bouncer and started to trail her fingers up his chest. She was saying things to him but I couldn't make them out. Within a few seconds he was smiling and let us into the club.

Pandora and Caleb laughed through the door. Jack gestured for me to go in and I did. I walked into P3 with a surprised smile on my face..
