Charmed Again (Part 2/3)

Chapter 9

Pandora beamed Caleb back to the manor and Jack orbed himself and me to the manor. I started to freak out a little once I was back in the manor.

We were in the hallway by the living room. I quickly walked into the living room. Chris was slouched on the sofa, passed out sleeping. I walked over to him and slapped him across the face. He didn't budge. He snored and turned over.

I didn't have time for this. I made my hand turn blue with lightening and pressed my finger on his neck. He twitched until he finally woke up and screamed in pain.

"Ow! What the hell was that for?!" He shouted at me holding his neck.

"I was attacked just now and I don't why. Gather everyone together." I told him.

I ran out of the living room and went to go find Wyatt. I heard footsteps behind me and I knew they were Chris's.

"What do you mean attacked?" He asked following me.

"I'll explain in a minute, I just need to find Wyatt." I answered him searching the kitchen.

I huffed when I couldn't find him.

"Where's Wyatt?" I asked getting freaked out.

"He's taking a shower. Now tell me what happened." Chris ordered folding his arms.

There was no way in hell that I was going to tell him without Wyatt being here aswell. I went to walk out of the kitchen when Chris grabbed my arm.

"Anna I'm serious. Tell me what happened." He spoke in a low serious tone.

"Let go of me before I electrocute you or blow your brain to bits." I warned staring at him.

"Fine. Do what you want. But Wyatt isn't the only one in charge around here. And he certainly isn't the only one who cares for your safety." He replied speaking close to my face.

As he spoke I felt his breath whisp across my skin. It made my lips warm up and his breath smelled like mint. His perfect green eyes burned into mine and I felt my heart speed up.

"Chris? Anna?" A voice called.

We both turned around and saw Wyatt standing there in sweatpants with a towel over his shoulder.

Chris let go of my arm and stood back. He walked over to his brother and flicked his piercing green gaze at him.

"She was attacked tonight. I'm sure you will do everything to protect her." Chris hissed and pushed past Wyatt.

I stood there almost completely num, catching my breath. Wyatt looked at me with fear and shock into his eyes. All I could do was stare into those blue bottomless pits of swirling fear..

"He called you his Queen?" Wyatt asked pacing around the living room.

"Yes. He said that I have to save them and that I have to fix what I've broken and pay penance for what I've done." I explained to everyone in the living room.

Melinda, Henry and everyone else in the house had gathered in the living room. Pandora, Caleb and Jack had still stayed.

"And you said that he was wearing medieval clothes and opened up a portal?" Wyatt asked trying to put the pieces together.

I nodded. I looked over at Chris and he was biting his nails siting in a chair. His eyes met mine but I looked away before he reacted.

Wyatt huffed and ran his hands through his hair. He had put a shirt on now but when his arms moved above his head, I could see his muscles flex under the material.

"Okay um, Pandora did you get a good look at the guys?" Wyatt asked her.

She was wrapped in Caleb's arms with a scared look on her face. An expression I doubt anyone saw from her. She looked cold and rubbed her arms.

"Um no not really. I only saw the back of his head." She said quietly looking away from me.

"Okay. Anna, would you mind checking out the Book of Shadows for them?" Wyatt said putting a hand on my shoulder.

I looked above and his face was directly above mine. I nodded in agreement.

"Can I get changed first?" I asked pointing to my dress and shoes.

Wyatt nodded and I got up off of the sofa. I walked around the couch and walked by Pandora and Caleb. She didn't meet my eyes when I passed. She looked away and buried herself in Caleb.

I continued to walk up the stairs, knowing that it was best not to pry with Pandora. I looked behind and everyone was watching me head up the stairs. Except for Pandora. As I headed up the stairs I couldn't get the memory of her frightened eyes out of my head..

I had gotten changed into sweatpants and an old T-shirt and went straight to the attic. I stood in front of the Book of Shadows and flicked through its pages.

By the time I had gotten through half of the book I still hadn't found the guy that attacked me. I was practically falling asleep on the book. The time was around 2am and I had been at this for almost two hours. My night had been short but it felt like an eternity had passed. Piper and Leo were asleep in bed, but Wyatt thought it was best to not wake them. To tell them in the morning.

I was about to give up on looking through the humongous book when something caught my eye. I flicked back to the page and a flood of relief washed over me. The guy who called me his Queen wasn't a demon. But the guy who tried to get me into the portal was a demon called the Dark Knight.

The book read that he must be avoided at all costs and must be approached with extreme caution.

Great. A extremely dangerous demon is once again after me.

I closed the book and headed downstairs to tell everyone what I had found out..
