Charmed Again (Part 2/3)

Chapter 28

I had managed to get up onto my feet and ran towards Wyatt. I needed him awake so he could heal Rowan.

"Wyatt. Wyatt!" I shouted as I tugged and pushed him.

I decided to gather a bolt. My hands lit blue but dimmed. My powers aren't strong enough. I took whatever I could get and hit him in the chest.

He didn't wake up.

God come on! Come on!....

I shouted the thought over and over hoping that it would help bring him back to consciousness.

My hands were covered in my own blood and I was getting really light headed and dizzy.

"My-queen." I heard a croaky voice say.

It was Rowan's dying words. I decided to leave Wyatt for now and made my way over to Rowan.

I collapsed by his side and took the knife out of his stomach. I got soaked in his blood.

I didn't want to but I started to cry.

"Rowan, Rowan come on hang on. Wyatt will wake up any second now." I said through tears.

"Listen." He cholked up his own blood. "I am glad that I have met you and Wyatt. I know that you will fix what your past self began. I would like you to remember, that I did not die in vain. I died protecting my Queen..."

I stared down at him as he pushed every single word out of his mouth. He then fumbled with his tunic and out of his pocket he pulled out a red crystal. He then placed it in my hands, which were the same colour as the crystal.

"Take this...a-and th-ink of C-Cammelot..it will t-take you to Mordered." He explained.

I took the crystal off of him and held it tight. Then he reached up to his neck and took of a necklace he had hidden under his tunic.

He placed that over my hand.

"As long as y-you havve thiss, I will be w-with you and you will b-be safe. Y-you gave it to me w-whenn we f-first met." He gargled.

I looked at it and it was a small pearl with steel rings concealing it on a silver chain. I smiled and nodded to him.

Then as I took his hand in mine, I looked into eyes and saw the last seconds of life leave his body. Then he slowly became transparent and faded away.

My tears fell on the floor and I tightened my grip on the necklace. I put it around my neck and closed my eyes.

I won't forget you..

I moved Wyatt onto the sofa until he wakes up. I had gathered all of the potions we had made and read and re-read the page that we found on Mordered.

It had been about an hour after Pandora/Mordered had attacked us and abducted Chris and Melinda. Finally Wyatt woke up.

"Uhhh what the hell happened?" He groaned.

"It's a really long story and I'm sure you'll remember it later but Rowan is dead, Mordered is possessing Pandora and he's taken Chris and Melinda to Camelot. We need to go." I briefed him.

I got up and began to walk away.

"Wow wait Anna hold up! Just breathe a second, think rationally." Wyatt called out to me.

He grabbed my hand and spun me around.

"Look I don't have time to think rationally. I just had a man literally die in front of me and every second we're here arguing is another second Mordered has to hurt Chris and Melinda." I urged.

He looked down at me with pitiful eyes.

"How are going to get there? Rowan was the only one who could open the portal." Wyatt asked.

I held up the crystal.

"He told me to think of Camelot when I use it." I answered.

"Anna I'm sorry about what happened with Rowan. I know you must be upset." Wyatt comforted.

I turned around and went to the bottom of the stairs. I held the crystal in my hand and then thought of Camelot.

The Camelot in my story, the Camelot in my dream, the Camelot in my memory.

Then a swirling vortex appeared in front of me and Wyatt.

"I was upset." I began taking a step closer to the portal. "Now I'm vengeful."

With one swift move I stepped into the portal and let the swirling vortex take me to the place where everything began..

Hi guys I'm sorry this chapter is short! But I promise there is a lot to come! So I wanted to know what you guys thought about Rowan's death and what you think Pandora/Mordered is going to do with Chris and Melinda!
