'We have math next.' Beverly nudged me and winked

'Can't wait.' I smirked

'What you guys talking about? You hate math y/n.' Eddie said

'Yes, she hates math, but not Mr Rodgers.' Beverly said

I blushed 'Shhhh.'

'You fancy our teacher?' Eddie frowned

'Well he is gorgeous Eds!' I said

'But he's so... old.' He mumbled

'I wouldn't say no.' I sighed

He rolled his eyes and walked in front

'Ooops.' Beverly said

'What? What did I say?'

She laughed and just shook her head, before we entered the classroom

I took my seat in between Beverly and Eddie, getting my books out ready

Mr Rodgers walked in, you could already tell all the girls in the room were already checking him out

He was very good looking no doubt, but i didn't have any attraction to him what so ever. I only mess around with Beverly about it because she keeps catching on to the fact I like Eddie.

'Y/n.' Mr Rodger said, 'Earth to y/n.'

I snapped out of it and looked at him

'sorry what?' I asked

'I said what is the answer on the board please.'

I looked behind him and frowned

'i-I don't know.'

'Detention it is then.' he said

'wait what? I didn't do- '

'do you want it all week?' he said

I shook my head 'No.'

'You can't do that to her, she didn't do anything.' Eddie said

I looked over to him surprised he was even trying to talk back to a teacher, everyone knew Eddie was a teacher's pet

'Okay Kaspbrak you can join her.' he said

I looked over to Eddie 'You fool.'

He sighed, not saying anything else

After the lesson was over me and Eddie stayed behind

'Right you 2, im nipping out. Got some books to collect, don't bother fulling a fast one on me. I want you both here when I get back.' he said and walked out, leaving me and Eddie alone

I looked over to Eddie 'What was that?'

'I didn't want you in detention, he's an idiot.' he mumbled

'what's wrong Eddie? You've been funny all lesson.' I said

He shook his head 'im fine.'

'You're lying, we are best friends I- '

'that's the problem!' he groaned 'we are best friends.'

'i-I don't understand.'

'Yeah, I know.' he said, a little too harshly

'Sorry... but I haven't done anything wrong!' I said, both our voices starting to rise

'You just don't get it!' He said

'Why you so angry at me?'

'I'm angry because I've tried to tell you so many times!' He said

'That im in love with you!' he shouted, his face dropping as soon as he realised what he said

'Y/N... I'm sorry. you didn't need to find it out that way. I just wanted to let you know' he sighed and ran a hand through his hair 'I get you don't like me, we are best friends of course you don't. I mean come on im not- '

He froze, his eyes widening before he finally kissed back

I pulled away and smiled

'You need to learn to shut up sometimes.' I said

'W-why did you kiss me?' he asked

'Well mostly to shut you up, but the rest to show that I love you too.' I blushed

His face broke out in a grin

'You do?'

'Of course, I do! Saying the teacher is gorgeous I was just teasing, yeah he's good looking but he's my dad age.' I laughed 'and well he isn't you.'

He smiled and placed his hand on my cheek

'Can i?'

I nodded and he placed his lips on mine once more

Someone cleared their throat

We quickly pulled away to see Mr Rodgers stood there

'This is detention, please keep it PG.' he said

I nodded and sat down next to Eddie, the grin still on both of our faces
